I passed a super week at Dominique's "loft". It is perhaps a little overpriced for what it is, but is pleasant and functional. The neighborhood is perfect- in the old town, but down a quiet side street, easy walking distance to everything...Dominique was very accommodating, even with a last minute reservation- all in all a good experience.

We stayed 38 days in the house, travelling a lot during that time through France, Germany, Spain. The "house" is actually a garage with a loft built on top, serving as a living room and kitchen. This area is spacious. Above this floor is an open mezzanine with a queen size bed and another 6 stairs up is a bathroom, 2m x 2m (shower and a sink). The whole flat is open, no doors (except for the 2 toilets). There is no privacy if you are more than 2 people. There are no bedrooms, just the open mezzanine above the living room. The living room has a futon sofabed (for 2) and a single bed where others can sleep. Sometimes there is no hot water in the evening -- we could not figure out why. The garage is the only entrance way. It is too small for a regular-size car (we had a Volvo) because of the sharp angles you need in order to get in and out. The equipment is old and well used. But the internet connection was good! Most frustrating, the house is not at the given address, so you cannot find it on maps or GPS. The actual location is in 4min. walking distance from the given address. The price/value equation for this place is way off -- the price is simply too high for what you get and compared to others in the area. The flat is closer to a 2star standard. The host and her husband are very nice. They met us late in the evening because our plane was delayed and even prepared a nice small dinner to welcome us. The location itself in the pedestrian area of Perpignan is ideal.

C'est un logement atypique avec beaucoup de charme La possibilité du garage facilite vraiment le stationnement qui est difficile Même en famille avec des enfants le dépaysement est assuré Hôte vraiment très disponible et agréable
