We enjoyed our stay at Kim’s home, especially on the back deck with those beautiful views! Perfect location in Williamstown and great value for our money.

Wonderful house, full of character and love. It was exactly as described. We were quite comfortable with 4 adults and a toddler.

Kim's home was exactly that - a home. It was cozy and lived in and a perfect place to stay when going to visit MassMOCA or the Clark Institute with friends or especially if you have a family with children. The back deck and yard is even lovelier in person and the home itself was …

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kim's home. The space is very pleasant—lots of light, lovely dimensions—very warm, familiar feel, nothing sterile or anonymous about it, it is clearly someone's home with interesting books, artwork, etc. The beds were really comfortable, the sho…

Thank you Liz. As one recent guest said in her private feedback to me: "Honestly, I had almost given up on AirBnB. It was so nice to stay in a REAL person's actual home instead of a soulless rental — and then, to have the comfort and coziness of YOUR home, what a treat." My house is a Home and if you appreciate that, this is the space for you....

Kim's place was very comfortable. If you're looking for a hotel, Inn experience stay somewhere else. It was a very pleasant home and neighborhood. I enjoyed staying in her home. :)

Response from Kim:
Thanks Maisha, my home is lived in and while neat it is not spotless, so as long as guests know what to expect they will be comfortable....

Kim's place is spacious for two people. It is however very much a rustic family place with many of the children's clothes and other things left in baskets and on the walls. The furniture is functional, although the living room futon was uncomfortable as was some of the kitchen …

Response from Kim:
Thank you Harvey. I do have my home professionally cleaned by a woman who I respect and trust for the past 20 years. She lives nearby and perhaps her cleaning is not up to your standards of perfection, but this is the best that we can do in this rural part of the country with high unemployment that Williams College alone cannot alleviate. Renters should be aware that my home is gently used and that I live here, and thus it will hardly be perfect or spotless nor does it presume to be. As a recent New Yorker article explained ("The New Sharing Economy") some very wealthy Airbnb hosts who rent out their apartments hire a professional company to take care of rental, guest check in/out, cleaning, and other services to whom they pay a portion of their airbnb proceeds. The result is that you can find some soulless but perfectly spotless airbnb apartments that feel like hotels rather than homes. If you are looking for that kind of a space please rent elsewhere. My home is a home that is decorated with art, love, compassion, and yes kids live here, sorry. If you have an issue with children, art, or a rural experience, please rent elsewhere. On the other hand if you are 'tired of souless airbnb apartments" as one of my guests wrote, and appreciate a distinctive Buddhist/Tibetan aesthetic flair, then I welcome you!!!

Charming, cozy house minutes from the center of town. Very comfortable and with a nice deck overlooking a pond and the mountains. Two couples found it a terrific place to stay and would be a great base for exploring the Clark, Mass MoCA and Williamstown Theatre Festival.
