We had a wonderful stay at John's place! Everything was better than advertised. The apartment is lovely with a fantastic kitchen and lots of space. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was stocked and very chic with a shower and a cast iron tub. The location was perfect, and John's recommendations were spot on!

John's place was perfect for us for a long weekend. We are 3 kids and 2 adults and this place had everything we needed. Very close to everything - we walked everywhere, quiet and quaint and lovely. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing listing. I loved the location, being on a residential block yet close to all the popular restaurants/bars. I enjoyed the 10-15min stroll it takes to get to the heart of Old Port. Also extremely close to Tandem Coffee and Hot Suppa which made me super happy because they were both on my list of places to hit up this wknd. The place itself is very spacious/homey and decorated to the nines. John is very easy to communicate with and also very accommodating. Would love to stay here again if we decide to visit Portland again.

We had the perfect weekend in Portland at this apartment! It was in an ideal location, about an 8-10 minute walk into downtown Portland. John was very helpful before our stay in providing check in instructions as well as suggestions for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend this Portland apartment!

Solid. Exactly what the photos suggest. Plenty of space. Some places nearby but not a far Uber to downtown Portland where most of the restaurants/bars are.

John was very responsive before and during our stay. He provided suggestions for activities and restaurants to eat at within the Portland, Maine area. His house in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is walk-able to downtown. We had a lovely stay and would come back again!

John's place is on a gorgeous, historic block in the West End of Portland. His home is cozy and welcoming; we especially loved his piano, record collection, and extensive library. It's a quick walk from John's place to amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and cool vintage and record shops along Congress St. If you're up for a longer walk (about 1.5 miles), trips to the East End and Portland's waterfront are very doable. There's a bike shop around the corner if you want to rent bikes and take in the entire city. We absolutely loved it, and hope his place is available in the future!
