Other things to note
Schmacher Place is adjacent to German Village and to downtown Columbus. City living provides many perks that are not available in the suburbs- walking distance to many activities and a plethora of cultural offerings. However, city living also brings higher crime rates. Residents must be mindful that they are not in the suburbs and maintain caution. The house is equipped with a security system and motion detector lights. It is in a very well lit and visible area.
We have a strict no smoking policy. This is a lovely home and is not a party place. It is for mature visitors who seek a clean, well maintained residence while in the city for business or pleasure. At the end of your visit, please place all kitchen and bed linens and towels and in the laundry room. Empty the refrigerator of any leftovers or opened containers. You may leave unopened food and we will donate it to the food pantry. Remove all trash from the house and place in the waste container at the front of the house next to the sister unit. We appreciate you doing this as often we have only a short time until the next guest arrives. We hope you have a pleasant stay and leave the home in the lovely condition it was when you arrived.
