This house is in the very best location of all of Vancouver. Located on the main strip. (4th Avenue), four blocks from the beach, restaurants, grocery, yoga, shopping and bars located steps away and a 3 minute drive to downtown, or a short bike ride.
Fourth Avenue in the 70s was purely residential, but has now become the main strip of commercial spaces, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. My place is one of the two remaining houses on fourth Avenue and is a pure gem! From the street you would never even know a house exists here, but once you walk through the front door you'll know you are in a special place.
You will have your private room, but feel free to enjoy the rest of the home. There is two complete bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs. The bathroom downstairs is the place to take showers, and upstairs bathroom can be used for baths, but please only use that option when you are renting the entire house or when there is no other guest in town (just as a way to be courteous to the rooms upstairs).
Interaction with guests
I am in the house or around for the most part unless I'm on a trip. I can help you with any issues, questions or concerns you may have.
Other things to note
There is no parking here, but free street parking is available. I have never had a friend or guest over who has had issues with parking.
Rules of the house is:
* When you use a dish, wash your dish. This way nobody is stepping on any ones toes.
*Make a mess on/in/around the toilet ... clean it up!
* No smoking
* Down stairs bathroom for showering unless no other guests or myself are in town. If you have the place to yourself feel free to enjoy a nice long relaxing bathtub session.

Hi my name is Justin, I am 35, and originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. I have lived in Vancouver for 5 years now, and absolutely love the city and the people in it. I manage a family business in Hawaii so I frequently have to go back to take care of things, so I figured Airbnb is the way to go. Besides running the family business, I am a musician in the city and frequently am out and about playing in jazz trio, quartets, and such.
I don't necessarily have a style of Airbnb hosting, because I am fairly new to it, but I will honestly say I have a wonderful house, and in my opinion I live in the best neighbourhood in the city, and the house location is phenomenal. I am sure you will very happy with the accommodations. If you haven't been to Vancouver before let me give you a brief rundown. Nine months a year it rains! haha,true story, but in the three months of summer I can't imagine a better place to live. The people of the city are at full bloom and the radiant energy can be felt everywhere. We have countless festivals, relaxing patios to grab a drink and enjoy the clean air, and the best landscape for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, watersports, or just going on an adventure. Unfortunately, I've had to travel back to Hawaii for the last two summers to take care of some business so I haven't had the opportunity to experience the full glory of Vancouver but there is always this summer!
