You will fall in love with this completely restored and beautifully decorated, furnished and maintained four-season turn-key 1938 Lakefront cabin. The perfect destination for a weekend getaway, extended family vacation, or creative retreat--getaway to write that script or album.
This cozy and private cabin blends original features from the 1930s and 40s with updated details: small but fully stocked cook's kitchen with viking/miele appliances and walk-in pantry; steam shower, whirlpool tub, and heated tile floors in the bathrooms.
Sleeps 6+ with 3 bedrooms--plus a twin bed in the loft/hallway and "window seat" twin bed in the office/living room (with privacy curtain).
Professional gas grill and room to entertain on the deck with a lake view thru the privacy of mature pines.
Swim and fish right off your own large Private Dock--just steps away from the house.
After dinner, cozy up with a book by the fire and listen to the player piano.
Prime lakefront location beside the Burnt Mill Beach Club and a short walk to the Arrowhead Village Shops/Restaurants and the Arrowhead Resort and Spa. The beach and playground next door are perfect for those with kids. Walk along the lake path to Bin 189 for a great meal or to watch the game. The Ice Castle Skating Rink is minutes away, and when it snows there's plenty of sledding right behind the house. For snow skiing there's Snow Valley (25min drive) and Snow Summit (50min drive).

NOTE: Lake Arrowhead is a private lake, meaning you must be registered with the Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) to use the lake, as well as the beaches and trails around the lake. For your convenience, a membership card will be provided for your stay so you will have access to all that a member would. If you are bringing any water craft of your own to the lake, it must be currently registered with the ALA to be used on the lake. We do not condone use of the membership card to rent or operate any powered water crafts on the lake (i.e. jet skis, power boats, etc) as we would be held liable for any accidents. Thank you for understanding.
Other things to note
This is an authentic 30's cabin. Though many aspects of the home have been lovingly updated, please note: a low railing on the upper floor, low windows in the dining room. This is the perfect place to curl up with a book as we have no cable TV.
As we are nestled into the cozy pines, our furniture is covered for protection (when not in use) and our deck is often showered with needles (and in winter, occasionally with snow). We have a leaf blower for your use to make cleanup easier but should you wish to simplify your stay, we can hire someone to prepare the deck for your arrival for an additional $50. Due to previous experience with our cushions being destroyed out in the elements, should you neglect to cover the furniture when you leave we will unfortunately have to charge you the $50 fee a second time to have someone come back out.
