Private bed/bath in 1900's renovated home. Very private area with wifi, TV. Great kitchen, lots of deck space, and views! REAL Queen bed, mini fridge in room.
Off Street Parking, Bus Stops out front, or 5$ Uber to downtown, Over-the-Rhine, & UC!
Bedroom with plenty of closets on the entry floor of my house, a rehabbed townhouse built in the early 1900s with original floors and dark painted brick. As a guest, you'll have your own private bathroom, mini fridge, TV with Cable, and internet. The kitchen is super cool and updated, with a Keurig for your morning coffee (K-cups included). Plus, the house has deck access for enjoying outside and off-street parking, which is tough to find in the area!
The room comes equipped with a REAL queen size bed, plus black out curtains and a white-noise maker for a comfortable sleeping experience. You'll be able to sleep soundly and enjoy a short commute to most meetings, events, and entertainment in the downtown and University of Cincinnati areas. Even events in Hyde Park and Xavier are just 10 minutes up the interstate, which is accessible within a half mile of the house!
My other listing (2:Private Bed/Bath near Downtown/UC) is cheaper because it is a queen air mattress with mattress topper, with no TV in the room. It also has a separate private bathroom.
Access is via lockbox. Guests can access their private bedroom area and have use of decks and exercise space, if desired. If you have special requests, not sure how to rock the Keurig or some other kitchen item, just communicate and we can work something out! The fridge has plenty of space, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Just note that use of the kitchen/living room could be shared if I'm around!
Feel free to use the soaps and towels in the bathroom!
TV, Wifi, mini-fridge, Keurig, off-street parking, decks with city views, lots of private space.
Please refrain from going all the way upstairs, which is my room, plus the back of the basement/work area, and the sub basement.
There is a second bedroom and bathroom that may or may not have a guest as well. Please be considerate of this area, as well.
Interaction with guests
I'm available via text or phone or email, and if I'm around the house, too, I'm happy to help with anything. My expectation to that you will want your privacy!
Other things to note
I have a cat. Penelope is super chill and likes to roam the house and occasionally sneak out onto the porch if you're chilling out there. She shouldn't really bother you other than to meow at you randomly--it sounds needy, but it's just a ploy to get tasty wet food, so don't be fooled! She does enjoy a nice behind-the-ear scratch session (who doesn't), but she is also a typical cat, so it may require some coaxing to get her to "accept" your generous offer to pet her. Toss a toy across the room and she'll chase it for sure! :)
If you're staying for a while, and want some help with cooking, groceries, laundry, or other errands, I have assistants available that can take care of things at an hourly rate.
Please read the HOUSE MANUAL (accessible after a reservation is made), it will answer most questions and make your stay smooth as silk!
No smoking, please, in the house or on the decks. If you use any dishes, please wash them. Basically, please clean up after yourself when you leave and if you use common space when you leave it. I'll take care of trash and spit-shining the floor after you check out!
Check in is at 3pm, check out at 11am. Please communicate if you need this to be otherwise! Keys are available via lockbox or hand-off.
Absolutely no smoking, no pets. When using the kitchen appliances, dishes, etc. please clean up thoroughly and wash the dishes.
It would be great if you could remove trash on check out and deposit in the trash bin out front of on the north side of the house. Please do not consume my personal food and/or alcohol.
If checking out when I am not home, please lock up through the front door and put the key in the lockbox before leaving.
