The space

Our apartment is in the middle of it all! We absolutely love the neighborhood and apartment. Sights, night life, arts & culture, food, many gay friendly business and gay bars/clubs- it's your typically awesome NYC experience!
Whether you're just looking for a place to crash for a night or here on a week long getaway- we are the guys for you!
This is a railroad style apartment. The direct air conditioning cools down the entire apartment for those warm NYC days. Although there is no elevator in the apartment itself, it is a true 2nd story walk-up apartment. Which means you will only walk up 1 flights of stairs.

Five Stars for the Location. Five Stars for Response. While I believe that Bronson n Sam are very genuine and have a good sense of humour, and their friend Aylin was very prompt and eager, this may not have been what we were looking for. I do feel the listing gave us an expectation beyond what we got. The fault was partly ours as we didn't read much beyond the listing and probably mis read or skipped information. But eventually enjoyed our stay in NY thanks to the proximity to everything downtown NY. For a small group of friends looking for a great time in NY do take this accomodation up. Do note that it's on floor 3 and if you have heavy bags, be prepared. Earlier guests have commended Sam/Bronson for helping with the bags but unfortunately they were on vacation and thus I did most of the lifting. We had filtered our search specifying washer and dryer as we needed a lot if washing to be done. Though their write up (which I overlooked) says the washer /dryer is a laundromat across 9th Avenue. .. the filter listing shows that they have a washer dryer. This could be deceptive and became a.drain on our short time. The kitchenette is very small, an unstoppable dripping sink, and if you're a family planning on cooking meals, I'd advise against it as there's no exhaust . There isnt a small table around which one can eat too. Guess it's more for a bunch of youngsters spending most of your time out. There are zillions of great eateries around. We with our 4 suitcases found the place small But we realised and were educated by Bronson that this is how NYers live. They've been very prompt in responding.

Bronson was very accommodating when we had multiple people arriving at different times throughout the afternoon. His apartment is in an amazing location, yet incredibly quiet at night. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere except down to SOHO within 10-20 minutes. When we did take Uber, it was only $11 to Madison Square Garden. We didn't realize how close to Times Square the apartment is until we literally stumbled into it. Around the corner from the apartment is any bar, restaurant, or quick shopping (Duane Reed, etc) that you could possibly need. The apartment itself was fine for 4 people without tripping on each other and Bronson was always available when we called him with questions. Everything was clean and we had anything we needed in the kitchen. Parking is difficult in NYC if that's your thing- my car was towed for parking in an area that had street signs covered with tarp, so we didn't realize it was Standing Only (and we are fighting that ticket!), but 2 blocks north/1 block east is a parking garage ($71.50 daily for parking). We drove around for over an hour looking for parking, so I highly recommend using the parking garage and not having to worry about it. Overall we were incredibly happy and had a great time.

Bronson made me feel very welcome, even carrying my bags to the third storey. The unit was as described and located in the heart of Hell's Kitchen.
