Our very light appartement is close to the center of Amsterdam on the 4th floor of De Wolkenkrabber (The Sky Scraper) built in 1933 (only 10 floors high). The first high rise building of Amsterdam. The interior is up to the highest modern standards. Breathtaking 260 degrees panorama over the city of Amsterdam. The apartment has a very spaclous living room, a well equiped kitchen, 1 big master bedroom with television, a small library, 1 big bathroom with bath and separate shower and a balcony.
The building is the masterpiece of Plan-Zuid by Berlage, one of the most famous city expansion plans in the world. This completely renovated apartment of 130 m2 is situated at the 4th floor at the south side of the building. Due to the 3 balconies and large windows all around, you can enjoy sunshine the whole day. Directly behind the building is a small park with children playing area and Anne Frank memorial
In this neighborhood you are surrounded by all the most important monuments of the Amsterdamse School movement. The Amsterdam School is a style of architecture that arose from 1910 through about 1930 in the Netherlands. The 3 most important avenues, the Roosevelt avenue, the Churchill Avenue and the Vrijheidslaan (Freedom avenue) start at the Victorieplein. Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Royal Concert Hall, Carre Theatre, the centre of Amsterdam, the cannals etc. etc. all within 5 minutes with the bicycle or by public transport. At walking distance dozens of good restaurants and shops.
You have access to all the rooms of the apartment, the living room, fully equiped kitchen, bedroom and luxurious bathroom. We use 1 small dressing room for our own stuff. Except for one dressing room, where we store some personal items. We provide you with towels and bedlinen. On the back of the appartement there is a balcony where you can see the sunset over Amsterdam Zuid.

Other things to note
All public transport is close by. Tram 4 or 12 will take you directly to the center of Amsterdam within 6 minutes or to the museums quarter in 5 minutes or to the railway stations Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam Amstel and Amsterdam Zuid within 4 minutes.
