Traditional stone cottage in the heart of Ballydehob. Over 100 years old it was the village shoemakers workshop and home. It has been extended and developed but still maintains its character and charm through careful conservation and decoration.

Shoemakers is a really cute cottage - you could fit lots of people in there but I was equally happy on my own. Very handy village location, comfy beds and warm atmosphere

The cottage was all we hoped It would be. It was a really neat place to stay during our tour of SW Ireland. The hosts were great and very accommodating.

Jane's place is a great locale for hanging out in Ballydehob. The Cottage is very accommodating in having many people or a family. You can walk to restaurants and do a pub crawl all along the main street. The pubs were offering live music every night we were there and it made…

The location in Ballydehob is very good. The garden is a lovely space which unfortunately due to bad weather we could not use. Tall people should be aware of very low doorways between rooms, a function of old houses.
