About this listing
A Hidden gem, with sheltered courtyard garden that backs onto Tenby's 13th century town walls. Open-plan, light and airy, each room has been lovingly designed with artistic flair. For those who like a little unusual. Weekly bookings only during peak holiday periods (Sat-Sat). At other times of the year price discounts built-in for weekly bookings.
Tucked away in a hidden courtyard we have created our own tranquil little haven. Built and designed by us, we have tried to make it a sociable space looking out onto a lush almost jungle-like garden in the summer! An eclectic mix of art and design this is our home, best suited to a family or couples. Sleeps a maximum of 6, with two bedrooms - one large with kingsize bed and another children's room with bunk beds. The Lounge then doubles up as the third bedroom with a sofa bed which sleeps 2. Photos show a treepod bunk-house in the garden, but at this time we're not including this as part of the listing I'm afraid.
If you are looking for a generic holiday home this is not for you. Not all the cutlery matches etc, but we pride ourselves on the things that matter - like a comfy bed to sleep in, lots of books, and nice towels! In the house, the kitchen comes with oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and access to a washing machine and BBQ outside. No microwave though. Free wifi, and in the lounge area a 42" smart TV (no live TV, only Iplayer and Netflix, or USB).
Interaction with guests
We are away, but will be contactable via email, and will leave details of a contact who is managing the property in the event of any problems.
Other things to note
During the peak season only weekly bookings with SATURDAY as the changeover day.
BEDS: The second bedroom in the house is a children's room. Adults may sleep here as they are standard single length, but please note they are designed for kids! The beds are quite high, so confident climbers needed of at least 3 or 4 years old! They are secure, but mattresses can be pulled onto the floor if anyone is worried. Please let me know if you need a travelcot or highchair - subject to availability we may be able to provide one.
Bedding and towels provided to sleep 6.
There is a washing machine but no drier - either hang clothes outside in the garden or there is a launderette, open 24 hours on our street - turn left outside and it's just up the street on the right hand side.
• Check-in time is 4PM, Check-out by 11am.
We have an adjoining house, which is also a holiday cottage. It would be greatly appreciated if guests could be sensitive to others staying next door in terms of noise.
There is a log burner - but it is not for use. Feel free to try out the pizza oven in the garden though, we can provide instructions!
No pets I'm afraid
Hosts Abigail and Marcus Beck are currently out of the country at the moment. But a family member is very kindly handling all bookings - the lovely Gemma Beck will provide you with any information you need.
