Hi Faye. Here is the review we are leaving for you and our look at the situation. We would like to warn other guests. You should not be using this community.
In four years of operations for three of our airbnb properties we have left VERY few negative reviews. We regret to inform that we have to do that for our guest Faye. She is not welcomed in our properties any more. Moreover, we would like to warn other members of the airbnb community.
Here is the situation.
Faye checked in really late around 11pm. Unfortunately, one of the guests that was to stay next day made a mistake by checking earlier (we have code locks). When Faye arrived she found somebody else in the house. It took me about 20 minutes to communicate with the guest who was mistaken. He was a nice guy and agreed to leave the property immediately, cleaned for himself, changed the linens and made sure that the property was in the SAME condition before his arrival. Faye had to wait in the parking lot in front of the house for about 20 minutes. As a courtesy we have offered her to check out three hours later next day. It was a surprise for us to find out that Faye has requested FULL refund for those 20 minutes she spent outside waiting. It was somebody’s else honest mistake and the situation TOTALLY out of our control. Faye kept pressing charges in rather aggressive way. She lacked reasoning and she was full of negativity. I think her thought was to use the fear factor of leaving bad review for us in order to gain some benefits from us.
We deem this behaviour as unacceptable among members of our lovely airbnb community and would like to warn everybody else of the possible problems with this particular guest.
