We -4 adults and a small pup- stayed at The Timber Temple for 3 nights. It is a tastefully decorated beautiful house located in a gorgeous location. And Sherrie is a very gracious host. It was great and easy to communicate with her. I will definitely keep her dog-friendly beach recommendations for our next visit. We had such a pleasant stay that even the never ending rain couldn't bring us down. I highly recommend The Timber Temple.

Just amazing. Sherrie welcomed us into her home personally and showed us around, explaining the history of the building and also the local area. The place is terrific, and the views from the main bedroom are just amazing! The house is maybe 2 minutes from the beach in the car and located in a quiet, verdant neighbourhood. Everything is clean and very well presented. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Sherrie!!

The location is great. Close (but not too close) to Byron Bay. A short drive to the beach, but just hanging out at the house is a very relaxing way to spend your holiday. Sherrie explained the workings of the home well. It has everything you need to make your holiday great and we would have gladly stayed longer. Thanks Sherrie for letting us stay in your fabulous home.

Stayed 7 nights. Everything about this place worked for me. Open plan, views across treetop hinterland and ocean from living space and upstairs bedroom, restaurant-sized stove/oven, kitchen benchtop seats 4, microwave oven, large fridge and freezer, BBQ, TV with digital terrestrial pickup, CD player, 6-seat timber indoor and outdoor dining tables on outdoor deck, quiet, myriad of birds. Wi-fi is fast, 4G mobile network works. Balinese theme and fit-out throughout, along with the host's unique touches. After my numerous trips to Bali Sherrie's place is a perfect merger, coupled with the myriad of pristine solitary beaches close by. My first stay in Lennox Head, normally book into Byron Bay. Short 20 km drive from Byron Bay (north) and 11km from Ballina (south). Lennox sits on a 7 mile beach. I'm from Sydney (Bondi) and the coffee in town was on par and better still in mugs. Recommend visiting Suffolk Park SPA supermarket for local cold cuts (ham and turkey were divine). Recommend Bombay Wala in East Ballina for Indian food, and Fishy Fishy for delectable Tempura Ray Bream fish and chips. All up a wonderful stay, imagine even in winter sporting a wood fireplace.

The Timber Temple was a beautiful place to stay for our Splendour in the Grass trip. The place was decorated incredibly with Zen vibes throughout and there were so many things in the place that made our stay more comfortable and fun: amazing views from the balcony, free WiFi, a great fireplace, a hot tub, a huge luxurious bed, full kitchen amenities, outdoor area, free fruit and stunning rainforest-like surroundings. The host was easy to contact and helpful which made our trip a lot more smooth, she also even provided us with recommendations for what to do and see with plenty of brochures on the table to make the most of our stay. The location for the airbnb is about a 10 minute walk to the local shops, 25 minute drive to Ballina and about 30 minutes to Byron Bay. We had some issues with the buses to and from Lennox Heads so please ensure you plan ahead when it comes to buses. Also if you are looking to taxi anywhere, make sure you call Ballina taxies as unfortunately you cannot hail one down in this area no matter what time of day. The only thing I will say is that we were unaware that the host would be residing on the bottom most level of the airbnb - so just a heads up that you may receive a few sweet greetings from the host and little creatures (dogs, geckos, ants, cats etc) each morning. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here as it is totally worth the great location, tranquil energy of the design and experienced host. Thank you for having us Sherrie x x

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, we were made to feel so very welcome. Coming from city life this was just what we needed peace and tranquility amongst the trees and nature. We will definitely be coming back. Beautiful people and a beautiful place.

Sherrie has a beautiful home with a great attention to detail. The Timber Temple is aptly named and is beautifully constructed from chunky timber poles imported from Indonesia. The magnesium spa was an important feature for us and we loved soaking in it whilst looking over Lennox from the balcony. The upstairs bedroom is also amazing with expansive views over the ocean and Lennox. Would highly recommend staying here.
