Jan was a welcoming host and highly on top of communication throughout. The house was a nice cozy haven for us on our short stay where our large group was well catered to. The rooms were all of a good size and the facilities were all that was required. Clean throughout, with a nice garden and views. The waterfront was a short walk away and it was extremely handy for the wedding we attended at Newton Hall and the nearby pub.

We stayed as a family for a wedding at the local Newton Hall- so close to the reception, also a great pub and easy distance from Alnwick and Newcastle. Perfect for what we needed and a lot of space for the family. Jan is great at communication as well!

This was our second visit to Jan's and we loved it as much this time as we did the first. It is such a lovely home and see easy to relax in, the garden is a great space and the house is just across the road from a wonderful pub with great food and fab takeaway fish and chips! A ten minute walk and you are at a glorious sandy beach and there are loads of fab places to visit nearby - we loved the Crazy Golf in Seahouses - as well as the wonder of Bamburgh Castle.
