Other things to note

Looking for a good deal? Try booking with me "last minute"---(2-10 days before your planned arrival) --- I am all for reasonable offers, so why not try?
In other words: I'd rather book at a discount than leave this beautiful log sanctuary empty and waiting to bless the next weary traveler, so please try me! 1-night is acceptable for "last-minute bookers" during most peak seasons.
In terms of minimum stay it's a 2-night minimum during peak summer, fall, and ski seasons, but a 1-night minimum during off-peak months (usually all of April and also Oct. 20-Nov. 20).

This was our second trip to Heidi's wonderful cabin, and we had a great time. The location is fantastic in that it is hidden atop a beautiful wooded hill but is also a short drive into Woodstock. The cabin itself has gas stoves in each room that add to the cozy vibe. We would definitely stay here again!

My brother participated in the Killington Spartan Beast race and we needed somewhere to accommodate 8 people. Heidi's home was perfect. The location was serene and quiet, removed from everyone. We utilized all of the amazing amenities, and had a great time cooking for every meal as one big family! I can't wait to spread the word about this sanctuary. Thankful for all of the memories we have made!

We had a wonderful, engaging, and most importantly restful stay at Heidi's beautiful home. The house was very well equipped and we also really loved the outdoor walking path. My wife and our siblings stayed at Heidi's place as a family to reconnect as "adults" and the environment cultivated by Heidi's place gave us a serene, warm, and safe place to get in the thick of it, share raw feelings, and make deeper connections.

We had a wonderful stay in Heidi's home. My family came to Vermont for my law school graduation. For many of them, this was their first time in the area. Heidi provided a perfect Vermont experience. The house is beautiful, clean, and in a quiet and private location. Plus, it is just minutes from Woodstock. Heidi went out of her way to ensure my family had everything they needed and more. Communications with Heidi were easy. She is very responsive and has a familiar communication style. Overall, she took very good care of us and made us feel at home. We highly recommend Heidi’s place, and would gladly stay with her again in the future.

A wonderful experience from A to Z, in every way. The house is unique in style and décor, its location the most idyllic secluded Vermont forest setting, romantic for couples, lots of fun and absolute safety for kids. The amenities provided are like those staying in a close friend's home. Its spacious public spaces and bedrooms are beautifully decorated, and everything that might possibly be required is already provided. And Heidi's welcome and support by text and phone, followed up by a personal visit, are unmatched. Its closeness to Woodstock VT and all the charming visits available around the area make a stay very worthwhile and easy on everybody. We'll be back.

This is exactly how it is presented in Airbnb! The home is so welcoming and relaxing. Heidi had the home ready for us and was available for any questions. The house was spotless! Beds were comfortable and linens were beautiful. Kitchen is more than well equipped and easy for two people to work in together and a great family table with plenty of room. This is a great retreat!

Heidi and her husband were simply extraordinary. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Heidi was very quick in responding to my questions and was very clear in communicating the logistics, such as directions, check-in and check-out time, and instructions in the house. We stayed for the holiday weekend and checked in on Christmas Eve. Heidi and her husband even stopped by in the evening to make sure we arrived ok and were able to access the driveway because of the snow. The place itself was simply beautiful. It looked exactly like the one in the pictures if not more beautiful. It was clean and delicately decorated. It was in winter and there were gas stoves in all rooms keeping the house warm. My favorite part was the wood stove in the living room. It gave the house such a cozy feeling in winter!
