Interaction with guests

We will pick you up at the metro station, pick your luggage down because the apartment is on the sixth floor and we will be connected if you need any information during your stay.

Other things to note

This apartment is a small house, very very quiet (not obvious in the very center of Paris !). There is no noise from the street and the neighborhood is quiet.

Me and my fiancee had an amazing month in Manuel and François beautiful apartment. When we arrived, they helped us carry our very heavy bags of clothes up the six flights of steps and were super sweet and hospitable, plus very helpful with helping us find supermarkets and such. They also left a sweet gift of cheese and wine in the fridge. Their apartment is as beautiful in person as it is in the photographs. It is very spacious and filled with natural light, and the bed was super comfy too. The apartment is very centrally located and a brief to leisurely walk to the Marais, the Louvre, St. Germain. Pretty much everywhere. Also it is literally steps away from Rue Montorgueil which is a bustling road filled with cheese shops, patisseries, produce stores. So so beautiful and I recommend you stay with Manuel and François when you visit Paris!

Manuel and Francois were amazing hosts. As stated in many other reviews, they are very gracious in helping with luggage and answering any questions. This was our first visit to Paris and they made us feel very welcomed. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and convenient to many attractions, but doesn't feel "touristy." There are shops, restaurants, cafes, parks,...really, anything you want to do is within a short walking distance and the metro is very close. The apartment is on the top floor as stated, but is worth the climb. If I can do it, you can do it! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Definitely visit Rue de Montorgueil and also the eateries on Rue de Nil.

Manuel and Francois were the perfect hosts. I stayed in their apartment for 10 days and was left with a warm welcome and a perfect place to stay. On return they were charming and interested in my stay and insisted on carrying my bags down the stairs and accompanying me to a taxi. I cannot recommend these hosts or this apartment more highly.

My friend and I stayed in Francois and Manuel's loft for 8 days. Eight blissful days largely due to the F & M's wonderful homemaking skills. Once you enter the loft, you need for nothing. Anything you want, it is there waiting for you. It's especially true when you're cooking. And with Rue Montorgueil and Rue des Petits Carreaux so near, self-catering is not a necessity but an enjoyment. Every time we stepped inside these streets, we had trouble getting out. Fruit, cheese, pastry and bread, chocolate, tea, ice-cream, restaurants...With all the equipment and utensil provided in the loft, you can turn the simplest ingredients into something wonderful. Yes, the eating part is most memorable for me. For a more well-rounded review, please read the following comments which I whole-heartedly shared, from my friend. “It was love at first sight when it came to renting Francois and Manuel's apartment. Cleanliness, tidiness and a convenient location are requirements all too basic that need no further mentioning. Initially, I was drawn to the well-appointed bathroom and Simmons mattress (a great sales point, F&M!) when I was viewing the photos and reading the descriptions of the apartment. These two features alone seem to half guarantee a comfortable stay already. Some guests wrote in their reviews: "You got exactly what you saw in the photos." Well, not quite exactly. On arrival, it turned out that everything exceeded my expectations. The level of comfort is comparable to a luxury hotel with a homely touch: from the quality appliances to the heavenly bed with its dazzling white, crisply starched and ironed bed linen, the thick and fluffy towels, down to the quality 6-ply toilet rolls! It's truly a home away from home. Despite its central location, it is exceptionally quiet. Our hosts were so generous, thoughtful and friendly that they made us feel we were warmly welcomed. Francois and Manuel not only offered us complimentary wine, milk, bottled water, snacks, and a beautiful flower bouquet, but also let us help ourselves to the gourmet organic teas, jams and coffee that they bought for their personal enjoyment. They were helpful in every way: making transport arrangements, recommending good shops and restaurants, and having useful information available, including a video clip loaded on the ipad to demonstrate the operation of their washing machine. For those who worry about climbing the 6 flight of stairs, unless you have a medical problem, you will realise the difference it makes after a few days when you ascend the 284 steps to the roof of the Arc de Triomphe. I won't hesitate to recommend Francois and Manuel, and their apartment, and look forward to staying at their comfortable home again when I visit Paris next.”

We had a great stay with Manuel and Francois. They are a wonderful couple, very warm and welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. The apartment is spotless clean, and beautifully decorated in a modern and eclectic way. They served us a true Parisian breakfast with fresh baguettes and croissants every morning. After a day walking around, relaxing in the giant bathtub is a luxury. The location is perfect: two minutes from the metro and close to many top sites. Climbing the stairs helped work off the mountains of cheese we ate. If you can't handle stairs, this walk up isn't for you; if you can, then the reward is a great apartment, fantastic hosts and a great spot in the center of Paris. We would definitely stay with them again.
