About this listing
Centrally located, cosy one bedroom flat with very comfy king size bed. Includes internet, electric blanket, towels and linens. Private deck, gorgeous views of the city and Domain, full afternoon sun, open fire. Has a double pullout couch in the lounge if you need an extra bed.
Please note the flat above is also Airbnb, as a rule guests are asked to always remove shoes and be respectful of the lower flat, but there will be an apartment living level of noise (some walking etc) from above.
Full afternoon sun and a private deck overlooking our back garden, the Domain bush and city. Lots of native birds - and a couple of very friendly hens that lay lovely eggs for your breakfast. You may get a visit from Sophie our wee black cat, but she is a bit shy. Feel free to pick some herbs out of the garden for your cooking.
Full access to the downstairs flat. Shared washing line with upper flat. Access to the lower garden. Feel free to say hi to the chickens, they love company!
Interaction with guests
I live just down the road about 1 minutes walk away, so I can easily be available if needed. I am happy to help with any queries and keep your bags for you if you arrive early or need to store them after check out.
Other things to note
IMPORTANT: The flat above is also an Airbnb, they are asked to remove shoes before entering the flat, however an apartment living level of noise is expected (some walking and general living noises), please contact me if they are being noisy above this level.
There is a shared washing line and we will be coming past to feed the chickens in the morning and evening (but will try to be quiet)...
No smoking, no parties. Treat the flat with respect.

I am interested in health, wellness and nutrition. I love meeting new people.
I love to travel, love wild west coast beaches, reading, art, and I adore good food.
I have an 8 year old and we have a dog and a cat, a worm farm and chickens. Not your typical city setup, but it works for us!
I feel happy when I am gardening. I would love to be able to grow the majority of our fruit and vegetables - at the moment the garden is not always completely successful (the snails seem to have superpowers) but we enjoy eating our home grown produce (and really, anything that can encourage an 8 year old to eat their veges is great)!
