13th century stone staircase leads up to a lovely flat in the heart of Florence, just 30mt from Via Tornabuoni and 8 minutes walk from the train station.
Entrance on one of the squares where Ron Howard and Tom Hanks filmed Dan Brown's "Inferno".

Other things to note

The 13th century stone staircase leads up to my flat at the second floor. Usually there is no lift in old Florentine buildings.

The house is ventilated and never too hot, in any case there is a fan to move freely in every room available for the guests

The apartment is very comfortable and convienent. The negative is the spiral stair case of NINETY STEPS it takes to the apt. Would not rent again due this issue. You have been warned.

Carlotta was a very helpful host and the apartment was great. It's definitely in need of another fan or aircon though as it was a bit stifling during the peak of summer heat. The 13th century stairs are a pretty cool feature and the apartment has a lovely light and open feel. A short walk to the bridges and sites, and ideal if you're keen on brand name shopping!

We have mixed feelings after our stay at Cosy Home : Positive feedback : - The flat situation is amazing, really perfect to discover Firenze. - The flat is really nice and big. - Carlotte was very available before the stay to organize our arrival. Negative feedback : - NO airconditionning : it's impossible to stay in the flat during the day and very difficult to sleep at night when it's hot in the spring / summer. - The bed is in a very bad shape. There is litterally a hole in the middle of the mastress. It's absolutely not comfortable and hurting a lot the back. - We had no toilet paper and we had to buy some ourselves. - We asked for some information about the city to Carlotta and she told us to go to the tourist center, also she recommended a restaurant for breakfast that was closed. Basically she was not a great help.

Response from Carlotta:
Stéphanie, I am sorry to hear this. I changed the bed as I realized the mattress was quickly ruined. I couldn't know the place I recommend was closed and I left tour and city guide at home together with good restaurant cards. I asked you to call me in case you needed something, if the toilet paper was not enough you just had to ask, as I am always available for my guests. There is not air conditioning, as in the ad, but this was a very hot summer. I am sorry if you had a bed feeling and hope in case I can make you change your mind!

Carlotta was great. She replied to all questions right away, she was patient and welcoming. The apartment was as described and better than the pictures. The location was great! We could get to anywhere we wanted to quickly and the train station is less than 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic apartment, once you climb the spiral staircase three floors and get you breath back it will be taken again in this beautiful apartment, with so much character. The location is amazing with everything on your doorstep. Carlotta is incredible helpful and even gave us a bottle of wine on arrival. Thanks for a great trip. Nick & Jess
