Charming old spacious house with original tiled floors, high ceilings and french shutters. Generous surrounding balcony and roof, which looks out over the city, mountains and Mediterranean. Perfectly situated in a lovely quiet part of Geitawi, it is a mere 2 minute walk down to countless cafes and bars of Mar Mikhael.
There is a large open plan living area with sofas and dining table.
Very well equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven.
Wet room style bathroom.
Utility room with sink and washing machine.
Huge balcony and roof space.
Guests are encouraged and welcome to use the entire space as if it was their own.
Interaction with guests
There is another person living in the house, he is a young designer from London. He is more than happy to help advise you on current events and places to go.
Other things to note
In Beirut electricity is off for 3 hours each day. We do not have a generator as we feel these hours force us to do something else and if internet is needed we can go to a cafe/bar close by.
Bedding and towels are provided and a cleaner comes once a week.
There is no AC and during the colder months the place does get a little chilly but you will be provided with an efficient electric heater.
