Enclosed in a walled garden on the grounds of a castle this cottage is surrounded by ponies, hens and dogs. Very quiet and peaceful yet so close to super restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions on the Wild Atlantic Way. Walk to the local village.

What a beautiful location. Close to all amenities and Karen couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The cottage is lovely and authentically Irish with everything we could need. A home away from home. The animals were a true treat for my children, the dogs were such fun, and the pony and fresh eggs from the chickens were delicious, with home made jams and a lovely food welcome package. I'd also like to thank Karen for the tour of her castle which is stunning. Thank you and will definitely return. (The only tip for future guests that I would recommend, which is no fault of the cottage or Karen, is if you want to watch Netflix etc download before you arrive as the Wifi isn't fast enough, not that we were using it or needed to.)

What a wonderful cottage just outside of the castle. The house was very clean and we were able to make a fire in the wood / coal stove. The fire was so warm and cosy for our honeymoon. Moran's Oyster House is minutes away and have the best oysters I have ever tasted. The employees there know Karen and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Would love to stay here again!

Wonderful cottage in a truly amazing setting. Karen was great! Delta had to deliver some lost luggage while my husband and I were at the Cliffs, and Karen was so helpful meeting the representative and storing my bag. The animals were such a fun bonus.

There is plenty of room for 5 or 6 in this little house! Karen is very quick to get back to you if you contact her about anything. We enjoyed the chickens and the jam from the castle that Karen makes. As it was not very cold we did not want to bother with a fire, so things always felt a little damp, but that is to be expected with the climate.

Karen is a terrific and accommodating host. So friendly. The cottage is rustic yet tidy and clean. Karen even let us take a peek at the castle. Beautiful property. The accessibility to the farm animals--- a pony, kitties, chickens, and even a puppy --- was such a delight for my young teenagers. A memorable stay.

Karen had very flexible hours for check in and check out. She stocked the kitchen with some milk, bread, cheese, cookies and chocolate for us, which was great for a snack. Our kids loved the puppy, kittens , chickens and feeding apples to the pony. Beautiful views by the castle. It was a memorable stay.
