Airy, light filled 3 bedroom home with wood floors, skylights throughout and french doors to charming gated garden. Two firebowls and two outdoor dining areas surround this quiet home located in a convenient neighborhood less than a mile from the Plaza. An affordable way to experience Santa Fe! Pricing changes with the season and during the week, be on the lookout for some awesome deals on the off season.

The space

Spend your vacation in this private and spacious sanctuary- airy vaulted ceilings, sun washed rooms and enchanting enclosed garden complete this charming home. One queen bed, one double bed and additional twin accommodate up to 5 comfortably.

Note: Santa Fe is at 7000 feet elevation. Summers are cooler than most cities and the dry air and late season monsoons keep our city wonderfully temperate. Homes in Santa Fe generally do not have air conditioning as it is only needed occasionally and only for an hour or two. If you are accustomed to constant refrigerated air, we suggest that a local hotel may be a better choice for your visit.

Guest access

Lovely shared garden with outdoor fireplaces, shaded hand hewn picnic table, charcoal grill and plentiful outdoor seating add enormously to this already spacious 1650 square foot home.

Interaction with guests

We may not always be there to greet you when you arrive, but we look forward to meeting you and hearing all about your adventures! Suzanne and Ceci co-host this property. Best friends for over 25 years, with many of those years spent working in hospitality, we are at your service via phone or messaging if you need us :)

We checked off that this home was "better than expected" because in my airbnb experience I have never experienced a home so lovely, so tastefully appointed and so very comfortable! We are on a 3 week trip in the southern rockies and it was a delight to come home to Alto each nigh! We had three bedrooms- one queen, one double and a single, with out a door off the living room...plenty of private space for my husband and I and my brother. Also a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer and a dinning room that could easily seat 6. We only ate breakfast in. One problem....we were too tired to use what looked to be a terrific back yard...lounge chairs, lights, a grill and tables! (And the weather didn't cooperate!) Our hosts were lovely! Hope to be back!

Ceci and Suzanne have created a lovely home away from home. We felt comfortable and coddled. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are decadent, the living space is bright and welcoming. If I ever travel to Santa Fe again, I hope this wonderful home is available.

Ceci's and Suzanne's place is super cute, in a great location and is an outstanding value. There were four adults staying but unfortunately one of the toilets broke and one couple had to check into a hotel. Not Ceci's or Suzanne's fault and they were super responsive which was greatly appreciated. We would have liked the kitchen to be a little better stocked with things like dish towels and sponges but other than that it was a well equipped kitchen. We would stay there again but probably not with more than just the two of us.

I don't know if Ceci and Suzanne need another glowing recommendation, but here goes. Their design sensibility is wonderful - in a city where you can go on visual overload, it's wonderful to come home to a clean, white, simply but elegantly designed space where you can decompress and relax. Having an outdoor space gives you more options of places to chill out with privacy. The lovely kitchen makes eating in as appealing as visiting any of santa fe's tempting restaurants, and keeps the budget manageable. The house is a nice walking distance to town; any time you can stay out of the car in santa fe is precious. I could go on, but - just book it!

Ceci and Suzanne have a lovely home, and I can't recommend it more highly. Everything was exactly as advertised: bright, spacious, great outdoor space to hang out, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with cookware & cutlery (even a cheese grater!) if you want to make some meals at home. It's conveniently located near grocery stores, gas stations, starbucks, and a $5 Uber from the plaza. The little touches really put it over the top for us: like the cute laminated wifi instructions, the shelf full of games, the handwritten "guest book" of letters on the fridge from previous guests. All in all? Fantastic place to stay when visiting Santa Fe!

This home is magical--we had such a wonderful stay here. Ceci & Suzanne have managed to create a home that is stunningly decorated and appointed, while managing to also be homey and comfortable. It is light and airy, but also practical. We enjoyed many things in Santa Fe, but our main purpose for this trip was the SF Opera. This place is so conveniently located for that--plus really, most anything you want to do in SF. The kitchen is a "real" kitchen, so you can cook a meal on high-end appliances with any utensil needed, and we loved the long farm table in the dining room. You could eat, use as an "office" and put together a puzzle all surrounded by windows onto the lovely yard. We also loved the side outdoor table with twinkle lights in the trees, and the back yard space was wonderful for morning coffee. My absolute favorite thing was drinking a cup of coffee from the beautiful vintage-inspired cup & saucer sets (don't worry-if you are a mug person--there are plenty of those, as well!) As prominently mentioned on their listing--there is no AC. Most of the year in SF that's not an issue, just check your season, we did encounter a bit of extreme heat, but the house has lots of windows for a cross-breeze. And yes--as other reviews have mentioned--you will possible have to park on a narrow-ish street. But that's Santa Fe! Embrace it! Cecil & Suzanne were attentive and responsive hosts. My only hesitation in my glowing review is that I don't want it to be booked next time I come (haha!)
