In the quiet part of the colorful 8th district lies the town house with large double room and a private garden to enjoy outdoors. The room opens to a landmark church.

15 mins to the centre on metro & good public transport all day & night.

The space

The building is an old fashioned civil servants house build in the late 19th century and has been owned by the same family for more than three generations. The neighbourhood is quiet and next to big parks like Orczy and Nepliget and close to the landmarks like the city and Jewish cemetery.

Guest access

The guests can access all parts of the flat including living space, kitchen etc. There is a laundry room that is also accessible. Next to the house is a little grocery story which is open till late.

Interaction with guests

I will be available for interaction and if guests need any help if I am in town.

Other things to note

The beautiful church rings its bells a few times a day. It is at random time during the day at the hour!

There is a bistro in the building which is training people to make coffee and during daytime there are people in the backyard smoking or chatting.

Pets are allowed in the backyard and garden.

Everything during the stay is great. The location is good, where metro stations and bus stops (either within the city or to another countries) are all within 15 minutes walk. The room is big and the bed is comfortable, though there is some dust but it is not a big deal. Tyagi is really good at making some good tea and he is willing to answer any questions about the city and offer any help, which I appreciate very much.

Everything was perfect as described in the profile. Tyagi was an amazing host that welcomed us with tea and information about the city. He was very accommodating and flexible. Would stay again and recommend the place to anyone. A+

Tyagi was a great host! Even when he wasn't around it was very easy to communicate over (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) text or voice. He welcomed me with a cup of tea and was very flexible about check in and out. The location was great as it is just outside the busy part of the city and public transportation is close by with Metro, Tram and Bus

Tyagi was always in communication with us while we arrived, and once we arrived he received us and showed us around the house, he is a really nice and interesting guy and during all of our stay we enjoyed many a conversation with him. The house is indeed beautiful and has a nice garden which can be enjoyed in summer. The room is big and has really big windows which make it fresh in summer. The bed was ok, but could have been better with bigger pillows. The location is within walking distance to a metro station, and taking the metro you could be in the center in 20 minutes. It is also close to a tram stop that takes you to the central train station. The neighborhood is very residential and quite, there are no big supermarkets close by, but just next door is a small convenience shop with some supplies.

Tyagi's flat is near the bus station and metro which can walk about 5-6 minutes. Though there is no supermarket around, but have a little shop beside the door. Or can buy some pizza, bread in the metro station. We didn't see Tyagi, but his roommate treat us very well! Made some food and tea for us. And we talk a lot. Really thanks her! Neighbors also treated us well! It's a lovely place. We enjoyed our trip and flat in here !

The accomodation was OK, we can recommend the house for young people and students. It is close to Student Agency bus stop and close to Nepliget metro station - less than 10 minuts by walk. Maybe could be a little bit cleaner.

I am a film maker living in Budapest and Brussels. I am collecting and writing stories and making those stories into films. I hope to find interesting stories weaving magic and charm, humor and wit and all idiosyncrasies of life.

I would love to have hosts and to be able to share the place and knowledge I accumulate on my journey. At the same time, I enjoy being a guest to share ideas and places that matter to people.

Music makes the moment complete by the way!
