This modern, quiet apartment in a small block in trendy East Brunswick has all the comforts of home and surprising bushland views. It's perfect for a single or couple to enjoy the city without the bustle and noise.

The space

With bushland views, and overlooking a much loved cycling path and historic velodrome, the modern second floor apartment (with lift access) offers a quiet escape from the city. There's a large living space and separate bedroom with a great balcony.

There's a secure entry to the building, quiet neighbours and both secure and on street parking.

There is air conditioning and heating making the space very comfortable in all seasons.

Guest access

The spacious living room has timber floor boards with a plush rug, a jarrah dining setting for up to six, and a very functional kitchen area. There's TV, wifi and some comfy lounge chairs.

The kitchen is equipped with microwave, full oven, dishwasher and plenty of tools for grazing and catering.

The bedroom has a queen bed with quality mattress and linens. There's a walk through wardrobe to the semi ensuite, with large shower (no bath) and a European laundry with front loading machine. There's a small solar dryer on the balcony and some other drying racks are provided.

The balcony has a table and chairs- and an exotic view!

We use the apartment for both work and play so there are some of our personal items here however there is plenty of space for your things too.

There is a second bedroom, used mainly as a study and for storage. It's a useful place to store excess luggage.

Interaction with guests

One of us will greet you on arrival to provide keys and a short guided tour! We will be available by phone or email during your stay.

Everything was perfect here . My partner and I really needed a relaxing few days away and this place fitted the bill. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. Photos exactly as apartment appears the view from the balcony so relaxing . I had a lovely morning just listened to the birds feeling the sun come through the bedroom and drinking copius amounts of tea ! It was very hard to leave . Stephen and Sue we're very helpful hosts with very quick responses to all my questions. They very kindly supplied us with delicious breakfast items that carried us through for the few days we were there. It is in a great location only a 5 minute walk to the tram which will take you all the way into the city. We will 100 percent being staying here again . Thank you Stephen and Sue

Beautiful unit, with gorgeous treetop outlook, and in a great location, in East Brunswick. The hosts are lovely people and left breakfast, and pastries for our weekend stay. Would definitely stay again when down in Melbourne. Thanks for the weekend cheers Jack

We had a lovely stay in Sue & Stephen's flat in East Brunswick, which is exactly as it appears on the listing. The flat has everything you could need for a pleasant stay, including wifi, a kitchen and a washing machine, and is set in lovely Australian park land. It's also convenient to two major tram lines, meaning it's easy to get into Fitzroy, Carlton and the CBD. Sue & Stephen even left us snacks and some fresh coffee for their french press, which was very much appreciated after a long day of travel. We would recommend their flat to anyone visiting Melbourne.

Lovely stay with a lovely host! Apartment was clean and bright and just perfect for us, it was quiet but close to transport and the city. And we really appreciated the little extras :) thank you, it was the perfect getaway!
