Beautiful & spacious double room in a recently renovated Victorian house, on a quiet cul-de-sac, overlooking a park. Minutes from Brixton's markets, shops, restaurants & nightlife, as well as tube & rail stations.
Perfect for discovering London.
Also included in your stay is a delicious continental breakfast on your first morning with us.
The room is situated on the raised ground floor of a classic Victorian 19th century terraced house, on a residential road which opens onto a park and horse riding school!
As there is no through traffic, it is a really quiet place to stay despite being minutes from the centre of Brixton. There is a large bay window overlooking the park which lets in light throughout the day.
The house is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Brixton, which has more to offer by the day, as well as the underground and two train stations, making it a great base for exploring London.
Retaining many original Victorian features, the room boasts a king size double bed, two seater sofa, large mirror, desk and chair alongside wifi, TV with freeview and music system. We can also provide a travel cot for babies and small children.
The room has a kettle and various teas, coffees and milk as well as cups, a bottle of water (which we refill daily) and glasses.
We also provide a hairdryer and can lend you an iron if you need.
The bedroom is located on the ground floor as you enter the house on a floor of its own. On your first morning with us we will serve you a delicious continental breakfast as a welcome.
The rest of the house is private (there is no use of the kitchen).
Interaction with guests
We love where we live and are more than happy to help you discover Brixton and London. Whether you want to know where to go, how to get there or what to do when you get there, we will do our best to advise! We respect that our guests like to come and go as they please and often have busy itineraries but we are here if you need us for anything!
Other things to note
Ziggy (our cat) is an extremely furry and sociable feline and you can expect to meet him during your stay.
You are welcome to arrive and leave as needed but we would ask that you try to keep noise down late night / early morning.
There is no smoking in the house but you can smoke in the covered entrance.
Guests are free to come and go as they please and have access to their bedroom and bathroom but we keep the rest of the house, which is our family home, private.
