We loved staying at Xanthos place. It's simple but charming and walking distance from the nice village Zia. Xanthos has been very kind and even provided us with a little breakfast.

This is a really cute Greek home in a very picturesque location and it was equipped with everything you would need. There are not any supermarkets or stores nearby (if you have a car you can drive back to the main road, but if you are on bike it's unlikely you'd want to do this since the return trip would be all uphill). We were traveling by bike around the island, and lucky for us Xanthos was nice enough to leave a few breakfast items in the fridge so that we had something to eat the next morning. The house is located down the hill from Zia, where you can find restaurants to eat if you want to go out for food. Zia is a very nice little town with little shops and restaurants where lots of tourists go to see the sunset. We went to Zia and decided to go back down to the house and sit on the terrace to watch the sunset. The view from there was great also. Xanthos was a great host, and gave us tips as to what to do on the island. We'd recommend this traditional Greek home to others as well.
