Smart two bedroom unit on College Avenue near Walla Walla University. Over this past year, my husband and I have been remodeling this 1930s home and we're excited to share it with you. The breakfast nook is of our favorite features. The remodeled bathroom and kitchen are great too. We think it's a wonderful space to make some great memories! Also, fiber internet for fast entertainment or work if necessary.

The space

Lots of wonderful lounging spaces: the eating nook with big windows, the grey couch in front of the TV. There is a big tree and lawn out back, plus an eating space during the long summer season.

Guest access

The house has a downstairs apartment also listed on Airbnb. These two spaces each have their own separate entrance and their own amenities. Should other guests have the downstairs rented, you'll only be sharing the backyard and driveway.

Interaction with guests

We'll be available by phone when checking in. If needed, we have someone nearby who can check in.

Emily's place is a gem! From location to cleanliness and style - we felt right at home. We enjoyed being in the college area and thought the convenience store next door was super handy and charming. The design and aesthetic of Emily's place is just wonderful. The AC units worked great. Everything was clean and smelled good. We stayed in a few AirBnBs over our week long road trip and when we were at Emily's we just kept saying "I love it here, I'm so glad we got this place".

We had a great time at Emily's place. It was the perfect size for the four of us. The bathroom and kitchen are beautiful with new upgrades. It was great to have access to the backyard and the hot tub. Fun little house with lots of character! The gift basket was a nice touch with some fun goodies.

Emily was very sweet and so great with communicating. The house was just like it was described. The chocolates and notecard were an added nice touch. Although it was right next door to a convenience store it was a quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately the road directly outside the front door is completely torn up (redoing it) so it was noisy on Friday morning and a pain to have to deal with the detours. Otherwise it fit our requirements comfortably.

The house has a very well equipped kitchen. We especially liked the chocolate bar and coffee left for us. We made a birthday dinner for our son in the kitchen and had everything implement we needed. The kitchen has been tastefully updated but the bathroom has not been improved and would be my only negative comment. There was no working hot water handle for the sink and the tub is so badly stained that it was hard to get into even though it was clean. The price point was a little high given the state of the bathroom but will be spot on once that is updated.

My husband Tommy and I have lived here in Walla Walla for 2 years. We love the town and are proud of all it has to offer! We both love to cook, hike, do yoga, ride our road bikes, take photos, and craft new spaces! Our house was built in the 30s and we've been remodeling it since we got here. We love meeting travelers and giving recommendations. Tommy and I have both lived overseas (Hong Kong, CZ, and Chad) and continue to seek new adventures and opportunities to learn. We are easy going but active. We love hearing stories! Come for a stay.
