Sage House is a great house in the country town of Narrogin. It's a three bedroomed timber house with bathroom and kitchen newly renovated, simple ,natural and comfortably practical. It is completely self contained with all you need for a break away.

The space

Sage House has a huge garden and the patio sits under massive trees, it is well set up for a holiday but works well as a functional house for workers...the kitchen is well set up for cooking.

Guest access

Foxes Lair is a marvelous park a 5 min walk away...famous for its birds and especially flora in the spring.

Interaction with guests

Not unless required.

Other things to note

Gardens are a work in progress, a few years it will look as our other Freostay gardens do!

Janey's place was really lovely - heaps of charm and considerate touches inside, plus a great location for seeing Foxes Lair and going out to the Dryandra Woodlands/ Barna Mia Animal Sanctuary.

Sage Cottage is a charming, quiet and convenient place to stay. I was particularly impressed with the little details provided by Janey. We were a party of four singles, in Narrogin on a cool, damp weekend in winter to explore the flora and fauna of Dryandra Woodland and Barna Mia. We had dinner and Friday blues at the Narrogin pub; Saturday night at Cuballing, both great fun. On one misty morning we visited Foxes Lair reserve, an easy walk of around 400 m, which has charming walks and superb woodland birdlife. After each excursion we were happy to return to our cosy cottage home. I look forward to another visit, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Narrogin or Dryandra.

Very nice spot for anyone just looking to relax and enjoy the small town feeling. We really enjoyed the property, as did our dog, who loved the garden.

My life motto is that we live our lives in a simple and natural way...a big call these days, but we are are a stand for that.
I enjoy the work of designing, managing and cleaning Freostay myself.
Our water is heated and power generated by the sun, and grey water is used by our trees.
I grew up in Africa, and appreciate to call Australia home now where we live on 160 acres of reserve woodland.
I love this as a world where men are proud of their maleness, and women revel in their femininity.
I have lived now for more than half of my life to the man of my dreams, we have four children and two grandchildren...the sweet pleasure of time we have to spend with them is enhanced by the wonderful folk who choose to stay at our Freostayv Village and support our lives by doing so.
We thank you for choosing our place!
