This fabulous 3 bedroom penthouse apartment near Ocean Terminal in Leith provides a great base from which to enjoy Edinburgh. The apartment is spacious and light with great views of the city. It sleeps up to 6 guests and has free on street parking.

The space

The apartment is on the 6th floor of the building and sleeps up to 6 guests . It provides excellent family accommodation. the apartment is accessed via a secure lift requiring key access. The front door of the apartment leads into a large airy hall way off which all the rooms radiate.

A beautiful open plan living, dining, kitchen area with access to the roof terrace and fantastic views of the city and seascapes provides plenty of space in which guests can, cook eat and relax. The living area is furnished in a modern style with comfortably leather sofas and chairs and wooden furniture, there is a TV with DVD player and free WiFi available for guests.

The dining area houses a large wooden dining table with plenty of space for for 6 guests and the well equipped kitchen area has a breakfast bar with 2 stools. The kitchen has, a gas hob with extractor hood and a double electric oven, a microwave, fridge freezer , washer drier, toaster and a kettle. There is plenty of crockery, glass, cutlery and cookware available for guests who would like to prepare a meal in the apartment.

The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (providing bath, shower over, basin and toilet) also has access to the roof terrace. The room is furnished with a king sized bed, and has plenty of wardrobe space.

A second double bedroom also has an ensuite shower room with shower, basin and toilet. This room is furnished with a double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and occasional chair. French doors open onto the roof terrace.

The third bedroom has bunk beds, a small double with single over it and a chest of drawers; it would make an ideal bedroom for children.

A third family shower room with shower, toilet and basin completes the accommodation.

On street parking is free around the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was immaculately clean, including the carpets and any upholstered furniture. The kitchen was very well equipped and provided plenty of space to prepare meals. There were even kids' plastics bowls, plates, and utensils, which we really appreciated since we traveled with a 15-month old. Anabel provided a baby cot and a high chair, which is enormously helpful when traveling with a toddler! The bed linens and bath towels were nice quality and I can't emphasize enough how clean everything was. The apartment also offers spectacular views of the Edinburgh Castle and surrounding landscape. Although the apartment is located 2 miles from the Royal Mile, it was well worth making this small sacrifice in order to stay in such nice accommodations at a great value. There was a bus stop just outside of the apartment and it took about 25 minutes to arrive in the center of town. It really wasn't difficult to figure out how to catch the bus and it came frequently enough (about every 20 minutes I believe) that it didn't feel inconvenient. You could alternatively elect to take a cab if you don't want to deal with the bus and would still be saving a lot of money to stay in this apartment in Leith rather than an apartment of similar quality in the center. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Great place! Quiet clean and updated apartment within a short walk to bars, restaurants and ocean terminal. Having three bathrooms was great for our family. Thanks for having all the baby stuff set up for us, was a nice touch. Would stay again!

We had a great stay in Leith. Apartment was well appointed and in a great location. Easy access to the city center, yet in a more suburban area. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

The apartment and property management team are top class! Spectacular views of Edinburgh (the pictures are understated), lovely, quaint Leigh neighborhood with wonderful shops, and perfectly located for a quick trip via bus (or a reasonable stroll) into Edinburgh proper with enough distance that separates you from the bustling City Centre leaving you recharged in the morning. The team was very communicative, helpful, accommodating, and abundantly friendly. This property is an ideal spot for holiday travels! Would definitely love to stay here again!

Three of my friends and I spent 3 nights at this lovely apartment and we absolutely loved it. On arrival, there was someone there to pass us the keys and to show us around the apartment. The apartment itself was amazing, it was very spacious and we really enjoyed the huge rooftop terrace and the stunning views. It is a walking distance from many restaurants and next to a shopping centre, so we found the location very convenient. Leith is a quiet neighbourhood, however it is only 15 minutes drive from Old Town and I would definitely recommend it. Overall, our stay at the apartment was great, and I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Edinburgh to stay here.
