Gabby was an amazing host! She was able to facilitate airport pickup and wake up in the middle of the night to let me into the apartment, this was greatly appreciated as I had a after midnight arrival. I also appreciated the time she took out of her schedule to introduce me to the lovely neighborhood of Maadi. She showed me restaurant's, stores, and vodophone so I could settle into Cairo quickly. She also made time to get dinner and get to know me personally which was great as a lone traveller. Overall its a lovely apartment with adorable cats, clean sheets, cool furnishings and friendly guests.
My stay at Gabby's apartment was definitely a huge factor in making my Cairo-experience amazing. The neighborhood is lovely and it was great to come back to a calmer area after a long day in the hectic city. The place is spacious and clean. Even though both Gabby and me were bummed we couldn't spend more time together since our busy schedules didn't overlap, she was a great host. Ask for anything, and she'll make it happen. I will definitely come back!
Such amazing girl Gabby!!! She is so friendly , helpful , funny and very kind person! I'm so happy that she was hosting me these days ! Her home so cozy and comfortable, and the street 15 so quiet. And be sure that u will fall in love with her cats!! If I will come next time to Cairo -I will stay at her home again and again See you, Gabby Xxxxx
I was very lucky that Gabby hosted me in Egypt. she is a very open-minded and funny person with a great attitude. she really made me feel like home and I wish I could have stayed longer. she is very helpful and friendly, simply I'm so happy that i got to know her :) I can only recommend her and the place is quite and clean with such an amazing location. Thanks a lot for everything!
My original intention was to stay with Gabby only three days and then meet back up with my husband in Dubai but do to several faulty travel mishaps I wound up stuck in Cairo for almost two weeks. During this time Gabby helped me do everything from purchasing phone cards to finding amazing food that I had been missing. On top of being a phenomenal host, her house is decorated in such a way that you constantly feel welcomed and are able to relax in. She keeps everything clean and even has a maid come twice a week to make sure everything stays in excellent condition. Also, there was one night when I came down with a very high fever and even though it was Gabbys day off the next day she stayed up with me until the wee hours of the morning while I was treated at the hospital. Honestly, I could not recommend Gabby more. You will feel safe, welcomed and have a home environment for an incredibly cheap price.
