This a great efficiency room located on the ground floor of our Oceanside Cottage. It large with warm ocean colors. This room has low ceilings (6'3" near the door, kitchen and bath area and 7" in the bedroom area). It is also dog friendly.
This is a great space, located in our Oceanside Cottage building on the ground floor. It gets good light in the late morning, has warm ocean colors and includes a kitchen, reading area and full bedroom with queen bed. The newly renovated bath has a large stall shower. The Oceanside cottage is located just 300 feet from the beach and boardwalk.
This room, Coral Reef has lower than normal ceilings which are 6'3" in the entry way, reading nook, bathroom and kitchen areas. The bedroom area has 7" ceilings and is is spacious with a comfortable lounge chair.
Parking for this room is only available on the street. Parking in Ventnor is free in most areas.
Guest will have full access to all public areas of the bed and breakfast (The Carisbrooke Inn), including a complementary breakfast in the morning in our dining area, access to our decks, porches and patios, use of our beach chairs, towels and tags and our afternoon refreshment hour.
Interaction with guests
Either I or a staff member are available from 8:30 am until 7:00pm daily. Guests can reach a manager after hours by phone.
Room rates: Our rates change throughout the year. To check rates and availability, click here and complete the booking form. Note that you will see availability and rates before you have to confirm a booking. Rates are based on the room, the day of week, and the season. Rates include a full homemade breakfast, Evening refreshments and daily maid service. Room rates and amenities are subject to change without notice.
Check-in: 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Exceptions must be prearranged. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate early check-ins unless they have been prearranged. Guests arriving for early check-in without a prearranged confirmation will be charged a service fee of $50
Check-out: 11:30 am. Late check-out may be arranged if available for a fee.
Extra Person Charge: $50.00 per night, per person.
Children: We are happy to accommodate children over the age of 14.
Deposit: To confirm a reservation, an advanced deposit is required. For stays less than 7 days the deposit is the first night plus applicable taxes. For 7 or more nights the deposit is 25% of the total charges. All add-on items (for example: flowers, chocolates, massages, etc.) will be charged within 24 hours of the time of booking.
The balance is due at check-in. Any reservation without a deposit is not guaranteed.
Payment: We accept Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or cash. No personal checks.
Cancellation: Reservations made during July and August require at least 21 days notice to be canceled without penalty. Reservations made during all other times require at least 7 days notices to be cancelled without penalty. Additional items such as, but not limited to flowers, massages, dinners require at least 7 days notice to be cancelled without penalty.
All cancellations are subject to a $35 processing fee.
Cancellations with less notice than required will forfeit all deposits ( first night for stays less than 7 days, 25% for stays 7 or more nights, full cost of extra add-ons )
Same day cancellations and no-shows will be charged for the entire reservation. No exceptions for any reason.
Smoking: As required by the NJ State Fire code, and for the comfort and safety of all our guests, smoking is not permitted inside the inn. A fee of $250 will be assessed to any guest who smokes in their rooms or anywhere inside the Inn.
Pets: Dogs are allowed in this room only and are subject to our pet policy.
