The cabin is in a private community just on the Skykomish River, really convenient to Index where we were attending a wedding. The weather was terrible, so the wood stove and the electric fireplace made all the difference this weekend.

Location was perfect. Cabin has direct access to cabin and the balcony was perfect to enjoy the beautiful view. We were there on a weekend where burn ban was in effect so did not get to bbq or use the firepit - that would have been even nicer. The inside of the cabin is clean, cute, and quaint. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice getaway but still close to town.

Beautiful house in the most wonderful location. As other reviews stated, photos don't do the house justice. The river, and the surrounding views make this place a must stay. We loved the house, swimming in the river, and watching the sun set and stars come out. Would definitely like to come back again and do more hiking in the surrounding area. Brad was a great host, and was easy to communicate with. Thanks again!

The best thing about Brad's cabin is the view of the river and mountains. We were thrilled to see three eagles during our stay and thousands of stars each night. The three of us slept in the house, as the second bedroom is separated from the house in a shed-type structure. We were mostly comfortable. The half bath is an outdoor flushable toilet on the side of the house with a shower curtain door. A few downsides to an overall good stay - the stovetop and oven did not work the first evening when we were planning to make dinner after a long day. Brad got back to us in an hour and offered to fix it that evening, but it was around 9pm so we had eaten something else. He did replace the gas the next day and then stopped by that evening to turn it on when we could not get it to work. We also found the cookware limited. Fortunately, there is a grocery nearby so we were able to buy some foil baking fans for one of our planned meals. In addition to the issues with the kitchen, the bath towels smelled mildewy. Given these factors, I found the overall cost ($273/weekday night for 3 guests) a bit much. The location is nice and we had a good stay overall, but I will likely stay somewhere else next time.

We had a fantastic time at Brad's place! This place is beautiful! We had a great time drinking coffee and eating breakfast in the deck and watching the sunrise. I'm planning on booking my next trip here!
