This two bedroom apartment is located on the left bank in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, on the edge of the 6th arrondissement, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés (Metro Saint-Germain-des-Prés), or Saint -Sulpice in a lively district, 3 minutes walk from the famous Café de Flore, Prada, Celine, Emporio Armani Café, the Luxembourg Garden and many other more.
This area is known worldwide as the neighborhood who acquired his soul through the power of attraction he exercised on intellectuals since the seventeenth century.
This apartment on the first floor with elevator (American 2nd floor), is composed as follows:
1 dining room
1 living room with cable TV
1 fully equipped kitchen open to the living room
1 large bedroom with a 160x190 bed
1 small bedroom (bed 140x190) with en French suite shower (no WC).
1 independent bathroom with a large walk-in shower + WC and sink

Interaction with guests

I can answer your questions Monday through Friday from noon to 10 p.m. by phone. I am not available at night or neither during the weekend.
My place is not a hotel residence, there is no hotel service.
I'm not working in the tourism industry. The guests who have special needs must know that.

There is a bath towel per person.
No fan
No air conditioning
The TV in the bedroom doesn't work, but the one in the living works well.
Cable TV is included.
I am not responsible for any failures or Cable internet connection.
The apartment is provided with the minimum: toilet paper, soap (...). You should buy extra if you need it. I don't provide extra.
If you lose the keys you have to pay for that.
I can answer your questions Monday through Friday from noon to 10 p.m by phone. I'm not available the evening after 10 p.m. or on weekends, EXCEPT if it's an emergency (you lost the keys, leaks, fire ...).

Information du bailleur
48 heures, avant son arrivée, le locataire devra communiquer au bailleur son heure d’arrivée par mail ou via Airbnb(URL HIDDEN)
1 heure avant son arrivée, le Locataire devra prévenir le bailleur de son arrivée et téléphoner absolument au (phone number hidden) ou (phone number hidden) ou (phone number hidden).

Obligations du locataire
Le locataire est tenu des principales obligations suivantes :
-de payer le loyer,
-d'user paisiblement du logement suivant la destination qui lui a été donnée par le contrat de location,
-de ne pas exercer une activité commerciale,
-de répondre des dégradations et pertes qui surviennent pendant la durée du contrat dans les locaux dont il a la jouissance exclusive, à moins qu'il ne prouve qu'elles ont eu lieu par cas de force majeur, par faute du bailleur ou par le fait d'un tiers qu'il n'a pas introduit dans le logement,
-de laisser exécuter dans les lieux loués les travaux d'amélioration des parties communes ou des parties privatives du même immeuble, ainsi que les travaux nécessaires au maintien en état et à l'entretien normal des locaux loués,
-de ne pas transformer les locaux et équipements loués sans l'accord écrit du bailleur ; à défaut de cet accord, ce dernier peut exiger du locataire, à son départ des lieux, leur remise en l'état ou conserver à son bénéfice les transformations effectuées sans que le locataire puisse réclamer une indemnisation des frais engagés,
-Le bailleur a toutefois la faculté d'exiger aux frais du locataire la remise immédiate des lieux en l'état lorsque les transformations mettent en péril le bon fonctionnement des équipements ou la sécurité du logement loué,

The location of Adam’s place is within easy walking access to many of the major sites and museums but also convenient to the metro. The apartment is in a super nice neighborhood. It is very near St.Germain des Pres and as others have noted there is quite a lot of street noise. The building itself is safe and secure and there is an elevator you could use to carry your luggage. Adam was heading out of town the same day we arrived and I am not sure if communication was lost in translation but he did communicate to me that we needed to be on time and if we were late we needed to let him know because he was heading out of town. (His messages were short and always ended with an exclamation point). This made us all feel uneasy and as if we were putting him out even though prior to booking we had expressed some concern with him leaving the day we arrived. All we could do is forward him our flight information from Rome and our drivers ETA based on traffic and what the GPS indicated as our arrival time. He seemed agitated but again it could have been lost in translation…when we arrived his friend let us in and showed us the main points of the apartment. His friend was very sweet did provide us with his personal contact number and said if we needed anything to let him know. We did feel that the apartment was over priced due to the following situations and upon further reading into his reviews I see others have stated the same. Hopefully, this will review will help him improve as it is a cute apartment with a good location. We were 2 couples and were looking forward to having separate bedrooms and showers as our Airbnb in Rome was smaller and only had one shower. However, upon arrival and after his friend left we found the second room to be extremely small. The futon bed was already made out for us but the bed took up the entire room. The shower in the room had a HUGE wad of hair on the wall and the tile floor was very dirty! So we never used this shower. The apartment was minimally cleaned. I don’t know if Adam had a guest before us and didn’t have time to clean but we were pretty disgusted with the bedding! Had this been a hotel I would have demanded another room. The bedding and pillows were stained, unwashed and smelled HORRIBLE (body odor galore). We ended up laying our travel towels on top of the comforters and using our travel pillows to sleep on. Although we did find some sheets in the room some were folded rather messy and others were balled up so we didn’t even bother to use them as they were in the same condition. Adam is a wonderful host - he truly cares about his guest's experience and goes out of his way to ensure his guests have everything they need. We had a couple requests and Adam was so gracious to fulfill. Excellent location that's walkable to everything - Metro/RER and Uber made going longer distances very easy! The flat is in an old building on a lovely street downtown Paris - the interior has kept it's original charm that's perhaps hundreds of years old (herringbone wood floors, stone walls) yet appointed with modern kitchen & baths.
