Hello. We are the typical American family. We enjoy nature and the outdoors often hiking the hills outside of our home in LA. alongside our 3 rescue dogs & 3 kitty cats.
A while back we were lucky to find a little piece of Gods Country in the foot hills near the Sequoia National Forest. WOW! The Views are spectacular and the sounds: Well... Most mornings begin with the local competition of the Rooster Pheasants, the Wild Turkeys and the local Canada Geese calling out at the sunrise. During the day the Golden Eagles, Red-Tails & Red-Shouldered Hawks announce themselves with a scream. The Mocking Birds, Acorn Woodpeckers, Scrub Jays, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons and Roadrunners all have their turn to dominate the ear. In the evening, the Tule River echoes in the background as the little flying bats & crickets sing & chirp their songs. The owls screech & scream and finally the coyote calls. They sound as if they're trying to tell you their little story as you go to sleep.
We love it in the country, but when we are not renovating or are away from the ranch we rent it out to people like you who appreciate nature and love to get in it and to experience one of mother natures finest gifts.
From the quiet and serenity of the Holland Ranch please visit the local town of Springville and Cowpunchers Cafe, El Nuevo, El Tapatio or the Hamburger Stand for food. If you are feeling adventurous, head to Antlers, (the local watering hole for Taco Tuesday or anytime for a hamburger ect. just head west on the 190). You may run into my friend Rick, the local story teller/character. Photos attached.
If you love bike rides, hiking and taking in nature, you will love this place. Hope to see you soon.
