I live on the beautiful St. Mary's Bay here in Newfoundland, Canada in a small fishing outport. There is access to the beach from my house and the sunsets have to be seen to be believed. House is over 80 years old.
The house is a saltbox - built over 80 years ago. Unique wood floors. There is a double bedroom and a single bedroom available. Breakfast is oatmeal, homemade yogurt and homemade jam, farm eggs from up the road and home-made bread or toast. Coffee and tea and juice.
You can access the bathroom on the 2nd floor and dining room+ living room. And the front deck to lounge and look at the bay and the spectacular sunsets. Please note kitchen is not accessible.
Interaction with guests
As much or as little as you want.
Other things to note
The old walls are ultra thin so privacy is not optimum.
No reservations for guests without reviews due to poor past experiences and lack of understanding and respect for a private home. Sorry. Respect offered and expected. No smoking.

I am mayor of my local town. I am a writer, raconteur, knitter extraordinaire, voracious reader, old movie connoisseur, photographer,. create my own greeting card line, eclectic music buff, activist, entrepreneur and lover of all things Newfoundland. Irish hatched and matched and dispatched to Canada in my youth. Still learning, creating and enthusing. Excellent listener.
I live not for the breaths I take but for the moments that take my breath away. I found many here on this beautiful rock at the edge of the Atlantic ocean.
