A spacious open planned flat with a brand new bathroom and kitchen.
Although it's only a few minutes walk to the bustling Central, Soho and LKf, it's a quiet neighbourhood called Po Hing Fong, which is full of interesting art galleries, cafes, cool bars and restaurants. Its located in the oldest area of Hong Kong and is a few meters away from the beautiful Medical Museum, which is worth visiting.
The space is unique because it oozes tranquility and calm. It has dark brown bamboo barn like flooring and a teal blue wall behind the bed which is very calming. The blackened blinds will keep out any sunlight to give you a beautiful nights sleep.,The kitchen is open planned and it doesn't feel pokey but rather specious. The walls are super thick, so no noise from neighbours.
Cockroaches: I have only encountered one whilst living in my place for over three years. If you meet one, don't panic, they are harmless and must be useful for something, so I wouldn't kill them. You can throw a tea towel over it, they are quite fast runners and then you can let them go
Wifi, TV, espresso machine, blender, oven, AC
Interaction with guests
As my place isn't easy to find I do want to be available for every tenant when they arrive, by telephone or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), so should they encounter problems finding the place, I can talk to the cabbie, give better directions etc.
If everything is fine with the flat then I'm happy to not be in touch.
Other things to note
Location: it's just off Hollywood Road, up towards the mountain, the house is in a cul de sac, therefore very quiet. Even though a big hospital Tung Hua is diagonally opposite, there is never any noise or ambulance sirens etc; it is very convenient and easy to get a taxi.
I would like my guests to feel at home and if anything is not up to their standard that they contact me directly to sort it out immediately.
Passionate about the environment, I discovered the wonder plant bamboo and started my own bamboo business and brand Bamboa in 2008 ( I run a home and lifestyle boutique at PMQ, Soho, Central in Hong Kong. I love hiking, canoeing, yoga and enjoy the cultural scene in Hong Kong.
