I recently bought a home in Fitler Square in Philadelphia. The neighborhood is classic Philadelphia, full of beautiful architecture and is centrally located near Rittenhouse square (5 min walk), The Barnes Museum, the Liberty Bell, Penn, and more!

The space

I recently bought this property as my first home and I absolutely love it - and think guests will too! It's within walking distance to Rittenhouse square, Penn, Drexel, the Barnes Museum, and several urban parks. Additionally it is a short cab or bike ride to the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross house, and Eagles stadium. 5 minute walk to all major bus lines and the SEPTA. Walking distance to the Amtrak station. The location is really tough to beat.

Additionally I give all of my guests a list of great cafes, restaurants, and bars to check out while they are in town. I relocated to Philly from San Francisco and have to say this city is awesome, there are so many great places to see and things to do if you know where to go!

I love keeping my home extremely clean and making my guests feel welcome. I live in this home fulltime (It's a 2 bedroom) and rent out the guest bedroom when I am out of town. Therefore, you have the entire home to yourself, staying in the guest bedroom.

Would be a pleasure to host you during your trip to the city of brotherly love!

This was a great place to stay and I really appreciate Jennifer's willingness to make things comfortable for my college-aged son and me. It's a great neighborhood. Parking was a little tough, but we figured it out...just city parking I'm not used to.

Jennifer is a warm and gracious host, and made clear that I should make myself at home. Her home's most amazing asset is its location: once you get there, you'll find everything you might want or need within close walking distance. Street parking is available but you have to be alert because it only lasts two hours without a permit. So you might want to rely on taxis or mass transit. I only had trouble one time in four days. It's a great space, particularly the common areas. I would stay there again.

The house is located very conveniently in the Fitler Square neighborhood which is in walking distance of many attractions including bars and restaurants. Additionally, even though it is centrally located the house is very quiet and peaceful! I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Philadelphia!

I had a great stay near Fitler Square with Jen and Duncan - this is a quiet residential part of Center city, and as such is a gem. The neighborhood has restaurants and coffee shops, and is a short walk to the fine dining around renowned Rittenhouse Sq. I stayed during an Indian summer week in early October, with crisp air and warm afternoons, Philly at its best. The neighborhood is rich in urban gardening and containers, and I greatly enjoyed walking the in-between streets around the square, and living the urban ambulatory life for a few days. And for a tucked away neighborhood, everything is close - 30th street station and Amtrak, rental cars, and SEPTA, Schuylkill river park, Bike rental on South & Grey's ferry. But several days I just hung out - breakfast at Good Karma, Lunch in the back garden, Dinner at My Thai, and walks during the day. Jenn and Duncan are an interesting urban professional couple, and very welcoming, and helpful about the neighborhood. Parking can be a challenge, so use Uber, or rent a car at 30th street if you need one. But you don't - be a city dweller for a few days!

Amazing place, amazing spot, amazing people. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone passing through Philly. Not only was the place very comfortable but they provided a lot of info on the city which was invaluable for my first few days.
