A charming studio with kitchen, modern bathroom, and pillow-top queen-sized bed—perfect for a Central Coast getaway whether wine tasting, hiking Montaña de Oro State Park, visiting beaches, exploring Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo County.

The space

Quiet 320 square foot space on the back half of the lot away from the street. The studio has a 3/4 bath, kitchen, and deck. We lived in it while remodeling.

Guest access

As the studio is separate from the main house, it has its own entrance. The gate from the driveway to the backyard makes it easy for guests to come and go on their own.

Interaction with guests

We're easy going people. Do you need a recommendation on a place to eat or things to do? We're happy to help you get the most out of your Central Coast visit. Check out our free foodie index website at Central Coast Foodie for ideas and maps. This is the perfect space for guests who need peace and quiet and only want to interact when checking in and checking out. We also love to chat: win-win!

cute place, real close to Montana De Oro. Private porch was perfect spot to watch the sun set and enjoy your morning coffee

This location was exactly as advertised. The studio was comfortable and spacious for two people. The back porch would be perfect for a nice cup of coffee outside (it was a bit too cold for us to want to be outside much) and the kitchen was decently supplied for cooking. Coffee, tea and milk was provided for guests. The bed was really comfortable and there was a little space heater provided as well. The location was perfect and felt very safe. Rachel was very accommodating and was easy to communicate with. They let us check out late, which was awesome. We really enjoyed the experience.

Super great space, and an awesome location! The small kitchen was very convenient for a night in or cooking breakfast, would definitely stay here again and I plan to on my next visit!

We stayed at Rachel's place to visit our son who attends CalPoly. It's about 20 minutes from the university and an easy drive down a mostly empty road. Rachel's place was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It's exactly as described. We especially enjoyed how quiet it was. Will be back for future visits with our son!
