Cute, clean one bedroom with an adorable kitty!! Great price for the stay, I had the whole place to myself as Pam is not around a lot and the loft wasn't rented out. Easy to walk to downtown nightlife. Parking can be hard after 5 pm.

When you book this place, know that you might get a loft and not a private room, but at the same price of the private bedroom. I had no way of knowing I might get a loft as it's not listed in the ad. I was contacted after booking this place that I would be getting a loft, not a private bedroom. If you have the loft, you have to coordinate with the other AirBnB guest who does have the master if you want to shower. Since I had no way of contacting the person occupying the private bedroom, I got myself in an awkward situation coming out of the bathroom after showering to a sleeping man in the bed in the master. Had to tiptoe out of there so I didn't wake this guy. Just an awkward arrangement. Overall, make sure you're getting the private bedroom when you book here because the loft is not of the same value yet you pay the same price.

Great cozy place to stay. Short walk from pine ave. Parking can be difficult if park area is full. Clean place and safe. Enjoyed the cat and Pam is great with communication. I would stay here again.

If you're planning on staying at Pam's place for a night or two, then this place is ok. It's a nice apartment and the location is good. However, if you're planning on renting for more than a few days, I would suggest otherwise as there were a lot of problems I encountered during my 57 day stay. First of all, this place is listed as a private room, but that I would "mostly have the place to myself." I had the apartment to myself for a grand total of 4 nights during my stay, and 4 different house mates. This is relevant because what is not made clear is that even though you are in the master bedroom, there is only one shower in the apartment and so throughout my entire stay, I had to share my shower, and my room mates would have to enter my room in order to use it. During my stay, the host Pam was not living in the apartment as both rooms were occupied. However, she would come in often to check on her cat (towards the end of my stay she was coming in daily). Pam comes in at odd hours, without any warning whatsoever. In fact, I have come back from work to find her showing the place to potential renters, and going upstairs to the loft where all my house mate's things were without asking for prior permission. Now when I mentioned this to Pam, she got very defensive, and told me that since she is a "host" she does not need to give 24 hour permission to enter the premises. I'm not sure what Air BNB regulation is, but I told her okay, but asked her if as a courtesy she could send me just a quick text even 30 seconds before letting me know she's in the apartment so that I don't worry over who I hear in the living room in the middle of the night. I asked her politely to do this more than 3 times, and she never did, and so every time I heard her use the microwave at 3am I would wake up and get scared. One weekend, I was away, and when I came back I found out that there had been two girls who thought they had booked the place and were trying to get inside the apartment. Luckily they were not able to get in. When my house mate texted Pam about this, Pam brushed it off saying "whoops. Air bnb must have made a mistake." This is not a mistake. Pam has her place double listed and has two air bnb accounts- another under the name of "Alisha." This is incredibly deceitful as if you are reading this review under this account, there is a good chance it means that you can't see the reviews under the "Alisha" account. It's against air BNB policy to double list a place, and certainly the fact that I am not able to see...
