George and Eileen's place is a gem! The place is beautiful giving you great scenic views and the apartment is clean, open and with everything you might need. George greeted us with their own home-made wine and we had a great time with him and his son. We wish we could've stayed longer and if we're back in the area we'd love to stay there again. We highly recommend George's place!

George and Eileen's place is wonderful. I love this area-it's so peaceful and relaxing. I really enjoyed sitting under the umbrella at the picnic table reading my book and hearing the gentle breezes blowing through the trees and the sounds of the sheep and other animals off in the distance. My mom and daughter loved it too so three generations who all loved this Airbnb! We really appreciated all the snacks provided and the morning coffee on the balcony enjoying the views was also awesome. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I hope we get to stay longer in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay here. George was ready for our arrival and very welcoming. When we arrived after a four+ hour drive, we felt like we had arrived home. It was well appointed so we didn't have to immediately run to the store for anything and could sit down and relax. The beds were comfy and the place was clean. Plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets. A light-filled place that is very quiet! The puppy Golden Retriever welcome was a treat, as well!!

My wife and I were road tripping over 11 days from LA to Sonoma to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary and my wife's 30th birthday and George's place was our first stop--and our best. George was very welcoming and accommodating, as were Connor and Shane, his sons. Eileen was out of town so we, unfortunately, did not get to meet her. George's wonderful homestead is set on top of a hill in a farm setting (with a distant coastal view), with two llamas, two sheep and Clancy, their awesome dog. The accommodations were set above his impressive home winemaking operation--which was foolishly unbeknownst to me until we arrived (I'm apparently terrible about reading listing descriptions). George and Connor were very eager to share their knowledge, stories and creations with us until the late night--it was a truly unique experience that cannot be described and put into words. The space was clean, modern and very well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. The stars at night were unbelievable and the cool breeze at night was crisp and refreshing. I really have no complaints...which, if you ask my wife, is quite rare. I would highly, highly, highly recommend George's place if you are looking for an incredibly unique experience off the beaten track.

We loved our stay at Clancy's Cottage! The cottage is located on a beautiful estate in Arroyo Grande; we loved drinking George's homemade wine in the sun while watching the llamas and goats! Also enjoyed the star gazing at night. Conveniently located near all the Arroyo Grande wineries and close to Pismo Beach where we rode ATVs. George was very friendly and welcoming. Comfy beds and the house was clean and cute! Loved every moment of our weekend here. Thank you so much George and Eileen!!

Geoge & Eileen are very nice persons. The appartment is nice and cosy, we recommend this appartment.

Eileen and I have lived here in the same home in Arroyo Grande since 1992.

She was born in Los Angeles and grew up playing volleyball on the beaches of Southern California, Santa Monica being her "home "beach.

I grew up on a dairy farm in Quebec, Canada and first came to Santa Monica when I was 22 years old.

Both of us loved to travel as carefree twenty somethings. Eileen to Europe and Australia and myself to Central and South America. One of my numerous jobs was driving camping trips from New York to Panama. Hence we both love to meet people from all over the world, and have found that as AirBNB hosts we get introduced to the most interesting folks from near and far. We find this a really rewarding and enriching experience.
