My stay in this apartment was very pleasant. The location was perfect for me. It is only a 1-2 minute walk to the chateau. There are lots of shops, restaurants, and patisseries nearby, including a pedestrian only area. There are at least three grocery stores within walking distance, a very small one less then 5 minutes away and two bigger stores no more than 10 minutes away. There are numerous bus stops within a few minutes walk. Place Clemenceau is less than a ten minute walk - there is lots of activity there at night. I found the apartment to be reasonably quiet. The occasional noise included birds chirping in the daytime, the church bells ringing in the daytime, and some noise from the restaurants on the street (mostly Thurs-Sat). Sometimes there was street cleaning or garbage collection in the street in the morning, but that is part of city living. The apartment itself was very comfortable. The bed was nice, the kitchen was big enough for one person to easily cook. There is a large dressing area with a closet and a washing machine. The shower and sink are adjacent. The shower worked well, and although it was a single person shower, it was of decent size. The bedroom area has a large window that overlooks the church. The kitchen has a high window (too high to open), and the bathroom has a window that opens to the courtyard with trees and birds. The toilet is in a separate room next to the front door. The building is located in the historic part of town, surrounded by scenic buildings. The wooden staircase and wooden door to the apartment were also very scenic. The wifi worked well. I found the apartment spacious for one person (I stayed here alone). I stayed for 4 weeks, and the apartment was cleaned in the middle. Overall, I liked this apartment very much.
