Denis is a wonderful host that makes time for a talk. Rooms are very spacious and clean. In the middle of valladolid, and still very quite. Beautifully set. Really recommended to use as a stop for visiting the ruins in the neighbourhood like Ek Balam and Chichen Itza

Casa Hamaca is a little gem! Denis and his amazing team are really welcoming and helpful - lots of tips on local attractions...and ones further afield if you are travelling through. The Casa is very central but is cunningly designed so that it feels very private... you reach it …

great location in Valladolid, comfortable room complete with a hammock. The pool was smaller than expected but still nice to relax in. The big negative is that the place is advertised as a B&B with breakfast included but when we got to the restaurant in the morning we were told t…

Response from Denis:
Sorry you felt cheated. I just copied this from the listing of the room you were in "Breakfast buffet (granola, yoghurt, fruit plate, sweet rolls, coffee and tea) is usually available by 6:30 AM and is included. An extensive breakfast menu is available at additional cost anytime after 6:30 AM but we like you to give the chef notice the prior evening of approximately the time you would like breakfast. " Best wishes, Denis

Wonderful visit, too short. Denis was an engaging and informative host and the food was great. Try the hot chocolate with the included breakfast. One thing that might help tired travelers who arrive at night, a lighted sign to reception. Staff was great.

Highly recommend. Denis' place is a quiet jungle sanctuary well located near the center of town. Great staff and gracious host added to our visit. Looking forward to our next stay.
