Julia and Matt have a great place! They were warm and welcoming. I was in town for a brief work trip and the location was very convenient. I was able to walk from the T with my suitcase. I'd definitely recommend it. Thanks for making me feel so welcome in your home!

Julia's place is exactly as described and in a great location for exploring Boston and the Jamaica Plain area. I didn't get to meet her but her boyfriend Matt was very hospitable, helpful with recommendations for transportation, locations for exploration, and dining. I highly recommend their spot and will definitely look into staying again if I'm up that way in the future.

Julia and Matt's place is such a charm in a very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Although it is quite far from downtown and it's the last stop of the orange T train, we enjoyed staying in their home filled with artsy memorabilias from their travels which depicted greatly their character as a couple. The communication went smooth and they made the check-in and check-out process easy and smooth for both parties. It was the accommodation we were looking for perfect when you want it simple yet comfortable enough, and they were warm and friendly yet gave us the privacy we needed as well. If you want to experience boston like a local, this place is perfect!

Julia has a really beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood, very close to the subway and commuter rail stations. The hosts are very easygoing and helpful, and were kind and happy to chat (and offer coffee, popcorn, etc!) but also happy to let me keep to myself. Such an easy and convenient stay in every possible sense (getting to their place, check-in, staying in their place, everything). Their apartment is also very nicely put together, a very homey establishment--the art and the furniture and the arrangement, it's really quite nice. Basically everything about it was great, I would definitely stay again!

Julia's place was amazing. Really clean, the subway is few blocks away from the house, there are couple of restaurants and convenience store. Even though we didn't have a chance to meet Julia, she was responsive to inquiries and making sure everything was perfect for us.

Matt and Julia's home was such a lovely space to wake up to and rest each evening after a busy day of exploring Boston. Lots of natural light in the house, everything was very clean, and it was just what we needed. Such easy going, friendly and generous people! They are located at the end of the orange line, so it took about 20 minutes to get downtown which wasn't bad at all, and Jamaica Plain is a cool neighborhood to explore in itself. The beautiful arboretum is across the way from their place and several great restaurants walking distance away. This air bnb definitely added to our great visit to Boston.

This was our second stay with Julia in her warm and inviting home. Will definitely stay again with you if we can next time we're in town!

Julia User ProfileJulia is a superhost.

My name is Julia and I'm from Boston, Massachusetts. I am a graduate student studying arts in education. I live with my boyfriend who is a middle school teacher. We love biking, hiking, music, reading, cooking good meals, and meeting new people. We have traveled a lot and really appreciate getting to know different cultures.

As our guest, you are part of our home. We want you to have fun, be comfortable, and we want to get to know you a bit! We are very laid back and a pretty average weekday night might be us cooking a meal while listening to NPR and maybe watching an episode of something on Netflix or reading.
