We really enjoyed our stay here. Krishna was such a lovely host. She gave us excellent directions and advice about the area, as well as introducing us to a Kerala breakfast. The room was as it was in the picture, clean and tidy. The balcony was particularly nice to sit on amongst the plants

Krishna's place is really great. The location means you can walk into Fort Kochi and get about really easily. Krishna's parents, who actually live in the house are super friendly, and very accommodating. The room is clean and has air conditioning and a mosquito net. You should be aware that if you do a cooking class with Krishna's mother, who is an excellent cook and experienced teacher, that it is more of a demonstration than class, and that the price is per head and not for a group, which was a bit of a shock to our group of four. Otherwise a lovely stay in a great place with a warm and friendly family.

Silverweed is a lovely homestay in Fort Kochi that is just off a busy little street, but very quiet, you cannot hear traffic at all. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed, working A/C, fan and big bathroom. There is a nice big balcony you can sit on and enjoy the sounds of the birds, read a book or relax. The breakfast made by Mrs Nair (Krishna's mother) were very nice, my favourite was the idli with her famous coconut chutney. I also took lunch and dinners for an extra cost and all were extremely tasty. Keralan food deserves more recognition! Krishna and his family are very lovely hosts and whatever you may need they are there to help. Thank you again Mrs Nair for having me, I loved staying with you and our chats, I miss eating your coconut chutney, thank you for letting me know how to make it as I will do to remember my time in Kochi! Hope to see you again soon!

The most clean home stay that I have stayed in.Very professional in their approach, warm and accommodating.the entry to the rooms is separate and has all the privacy. We were served traditional local delicacies for breakfast:absolutely yummy.absolute value for money, safe, quiet, easily accessible, beautiful room and surroundings.i recommend highly and will return on my next visit to see the Kochi Biennale.venues of the biennale are just a kilometre. Easily do able on a hired cycle or bike from very near by. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay and hospitality.

Silverweed homestay is an authentic homestay where you can interact with the hosts and feel like part of the family. The room is very comfortable and bathroom is spacious and very clean. It's a great location, only 5-10minutes walk to Fort Cochi. The food is absolutely amazing and the best I've tried in India. I stayed three nights and would have loved to stay longer!
