Other things to note
Please shop before you get into town! There is a small market in La Conner, but may not have all you are looking for. They are great for ice, milk and bread but are a bit more expensive. I usually shop in Marysville at the Albertsons or Haggans if coming from Seattle or you can stop in Burlington (Safeway, Haggans) if coming from up north. You will need to provide your own paper products (paper towels and napkins) Toilet paper will be in all bathrooms with one roll on and one spare. You may need to account for your family's toilet paper usage during your stay. A BBQ grill is available for your use. There is no guarantee that the propane will be full as weather and other factors might affect propane tank. Please check and you can have it filled for your use during your stay. Please clean the grill after each use to keep it nice for all future guests. Fishing, crabbing and clam digging is available on the shores but make sure to get a proper fishing license! Also, check on seasons and dates for crabbing. The bay is perfect for kayaking or stand up paddle boarding - bring your own! There are many festivals in the area with the most famous being the Tulip Festival in April. A pack and Play is available for children under the age of 2. Please make sure to bring your own sheets/blankets for the pack & Play as we do not provide them. There are several board games available for your use. Please take care to put all pieces back in boxes and keep in the condition you found them. These are all brand new!

I am a mother to 7 kids ages 11-33 years old. I am a registered nurse and work in labor & delivery. I love to craft, sew, read, take long walks, hike and rehab houses. I am absolutely IN LOVE with the Pacific Northwest and spend as much time as possible in Washington. I am a So Cal native and enjoy traveling to all corners of the world. I am an avid gourmet cook and wine aficionado (AKA wine snob) and will happily open a bottle or two to share great conversation with good people.
I know you will love this house, Chateau Shambhala "Sea La Vie" as much as I do. The pristine waters, the breeze in the pines, the eagles nesting high above and the crabbing in the summer. This house has great energy and will allow you, your family and friends to relax and soak in the warmth and beauty that is the Pacific Northwest.

Hug your loved ones a little tighter, let a kiss linger a bit longer and say "I love you" a thousand times a day. Tomorrow is never promised and yesterday is gone forever - Today is what you have.
