An area of outstanding natural beauty, plenty of energising walks, bordering on National Trust woodlands with neolithic burial mounds and is minutes from the Cotswold Way.

Local amenities include sports complex and good local museum. If you are a Cider with Rosie fan, you can take a visit to Laurie Lee's grave and local pub in Slad valley.

Travelling around is best by car or bike or walking, but it is possible to visit the area on public transport if you are well organised!

This place suited us well during a short stay for a wedding nearby. We didnt have much time to explore the area but enjoyed a brief local walk in the very picturesque surroundings. This would be great for anyone looking for a quiet countryside getaway.
