Everything about our stay here was fantastic! Luca was very nice and welcoming, and available to answer any questions we had. Everything was clean, the room is big and has a private bathroom. Tons of breakfast options were provided. Perfect location - just a minute walk from a metro stop, walking distance to Colosseum. I highly recommend this place!

Luca's place was perfect for anyone looking for a great-value place to stay in Rome. The flat was very clean and spacious and literally steps from the main public transit as well as the Colosseum, making it so easy to get around! Luca also provided us with all necessary amenities we might need as well as a ton of food and drinks, and great wifi for our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be staying here again the next time we're in Rome! :-)

The position is ideal, close to the sights, secure accom. in a quiet courtyard garden setting. The lift to the fourth floor was appreciated. Luca left tons of food for us to eat. The shower was excellent.

Luca was very friendly and helpful, going out of his way to find details of vegetarian restaurants in the area for us, and giving us a walking route to follow to take in the main sights. He provided a good selection of items for the self serve breakfast including croissants, bread, cake / biscuits, fruit, yogurt, and a selection of teas and coffee, etc. The kitchen is very small and shared between the two rooms - when we were there we were the only ones that morning but it could have been quite crowded had there been 4 people trying to use it at the same time. The bedroom was basic but perfectly adequate for our one night stay. The sheets and towels were clean, and soap, shampoo, etc was provided. There's an air conditioning unit in the room too. Yes, there is noise from the road that can be heard - but it's Rome so that's to be expected! The situation is just outside the old city walls south gate, convenient for the railway and an easy walk to the colosseum and roman forum. It is on the 4th floor in a block of apartments around a courtyard - there is a small lift. Luca lives in the same area but once showing us where everything was we did not see him again (but could have contacted him easily enough had we have needed to). if you're looking for just a base to use, more of less just for somewhere to sleep, while you explore Rome during the day, as we were doing , then it was good value compared to many places.

Luca is such a nice host, hospitable and friendly. The room is exactly as described, very comfortable and clean, and the little kitchen has everything you may need for breakfast, like coffee and espresso maker (say a big No to instant "coffee" while in Italy!), bread. milk, yoghurt, and many more. And the house is only 250 m away from one of the central A line stations, so you can easily get anywhere. The only thing you have to be prepared for is the street noise: it can be really heavy on weekend nights (on/before weekdays it doesn't seem too bad, probably people don't have much time for night drives then). But if you are used to city noise, it's OK, the window in the room keeps away about 50% of it. For us, it has been a great stay!

Luca was incredibly enthusiastic when he came to greet us, and was very helpful in showing us the apartment. Everything was perfect, we have plenty of food for breakfast, working facilities, and a lot of recommendations for cool spots and nice restaurants (always useful). Stupidly close to the centre and to the metro station. Perfect!
