Lovely upstairs apartment overlooking gardens, feathered friends, Little Free Library and happy passers-by. Our home is a stone's throw from restaurants, theater, cafes and shopping. One block from Battery Park and waterfront views. Be on the bike path in minutes. Off-street parking for one car. Comfortable and quaint.

The space

This 2nd-floor apartment is in an 1899 building with lots of quirks and charms. It's well-loved with great light and energy. Claw foot tub, hardwood floors, solid wood doors with antique hardware- the space is clean, spacious, cozy and comfortable. In the growing season, the gardens provide a visual hug whether you're coming, going or just enjoying the view from inside or on the porch.
Many neighbors enjoy walking by and call this their "happy place." As do the folks who live here. Welcome to the "Mini Farm." :)

Julie’s urban farm was inviting and charming. We greeted us with local cider along with fresh farm eggs, granola, and local maple syrup in the fridge. The porch was a perfect for hen-watching and starting off the day with a cup of coffee. The location is perfect for walking to Church St or the waterfront parks. I hope to stay here on my next visit to Burlington!

What an awesome place. Great location. 1 block from the lake and a couple from tons of shops, bars and restaurants. Julie was an excellent host. Great communication. Easy self check in. And the extras were amazing. She left us a snack chocolate bar, a cider, amazing vanilla granola and fresh eggs from her chickens. Highly recommended.

Our stay in Burlington was great! Not only was Julie a great host but her place was amazing. The photos do not do it justice! We had our coffee every morning on the little deck (the sun shines right on you to keep you warm!). She left us some nice local treats (eggs from the hens outside, chocolate, cider, fresh mint, and lots of other breakfast goodies). We forgot our bike lock and she even had one we could borrow while there! The location was great. It was a quick walk to church street and a quick bike ride down Pine to some local brew pubs. We also liked being right across from the water. The best part was that it was SO clean! I am pretty sure it was much cleaner then our house. We felt right at home and hope to stay here again soon!

Julie's apartment was clean and conveniently located to the downtown area of Burlington. Communication was excellent. We were greeted warmly with a handwritten note from Julie. She provided various breakfast foods and left us small treats throughout our stay. The chicken coop was fantastic and her gardens were beautiful. Bed was very comfy and the place was more spacious than I was anticipating. Super charming apartment with a fantastic host. I would highly recommend to any couple looking for a getaway to Burlington!

This is a beautiful and comfortable home in a great location. Quick access to the lake and food/drink options. Julie is a very generous host who was very easy to communicate with even though we didn't get to meet in person. Highly recommended!
