This is a small, basic 2-bedroom flat with most of the essential supplies. There is no common living space: it is the 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, and the kitchen. It is located at the western-most edge of Plateau, just west of the Boulevard Saint-Laurent. It has very close proximity to night clubs, bars, and downtown. There is a Bixi station right outside the front door, so if you are able to either walk or cycle, Montreal is extremely accessible from this apartment. Mont Royal is a short walk from here. The beds are incredibly comfortable and although it tends to be noisy at night on weekends, my son and I still got an amazing amount of undisturbed sleep. The A/C consists of one fixed unit in one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom has a small, private balcony overlooking a main street. Cleanliness was an issue while we were there which I found distracting, but hopefully this is a one-off and will not be a problem. Unfortunately, the rooftop deck was littered with beer cans when we stayed, so we did not spend any time up there. The building is older, and this is a walk-up. There is a small park across the street. I would not recommend this apartment for children. All in all, we did enjoy our stay, and really appreciated being able to reach any neighborhood in Montreal within minutes, either by bicycle or on foot, even though the description is a little misleading.

We enjoyed staying there. Eszter was friendly and helpful. The Mural festival was right infront of the door which was really nice but caused a lot of noise during the night. Unfortunately there were no pots to cook. That's why we bought some. The balcony and the rooftop are very nice!

So I was originally supposed to stay 4 nights at this place but only stayed one night due to some complications. I guess there were some confusion with the electricity billing so they didn't have electricity the week I was there. I didn't get to meet Eszter but her friend did come over and used a bunch of extension cords to connect the plug in from outside to inside so we had lighting and etc. Honestly I'm not really picky so it was fine until we realized that the hot water wasn't working. Eszter was easily reachable(via phone) so she did move us a couple blocks over for a bigger place. The place was way nicer, 3 times bigger than the original place and it had A/C. I was extremely happy that Eszter was accommodating, and kept on checking on us to make sure we were comfortable. She was extremely friendly! Location for both of the place was great. Central and walkable! One thing I do want to mention is that the check out process was a bit unorganized. I was supposed to catch a flight early in the morning the day of check out... Eszter mentioned that her friend will be waiting for my call before 5AM to pick up the keys. I tried getting ahold of this friend numerous times but was unable to. We did end up leaving the keys under the doormat since we had to rush out. Other than that, Eszter was great to work with and we enjoyed our stay.

A great area to stay in if you're young and looking for night life! Right across from very popular clubs, this apartment makes it perfect for the weekend. We didn't have to spend money on transportation because everything was in walking distance. The apartment was great and had lots of room for me and 3 friends. If you are not looking to have late nights, I would recommend bringing ear plugs because the streets are noisy! My friends and I had such a great time here and would recommend it to anyone!

If you've only got a few days in Montreal, the Plateau is definitely the area to stay in. Eszter's place is in an excellent and lively location, walking distance from loads of great food, bars and coffee.

The apt is spacious, suitable and accurately depicted in the photos. The area where the apt is located turned into a loud party spot on Friday night. Eszter's communication and response time was satisfactory. On our last day, someone unexpectedly knocked on our door at 9:00 a.m. to collect one of the sets of keys.
