Picture this! Views reveal breathtaking Section 6 valley below to the east. Upward views of the Wonderland of Rocks from your pillow top. French doors from the master suite that lead onto the expansive JTNP facing patio. A fire pit for relaxing under the stars. Two bedrooms with king beds plus 8 additional beds in the common areas. 1900 square feet of entertaining areas alone. Perfect for the couple, family, students, yoga retreats or group bookings.
This is a rambling 1900 square foot ranch house built in 1972 and freshly remodeled between 2014 to present. Beautiful tile and wood floors run throughout the home. There are two king size beds in two rooms plus a total of 6 twin size trundle beds in the living room. There are two more full size sleeper sofas in the sun room. With only two bedrooms the majority of the space is allocated to a huge living room and sun room. Multiple entries open onto outdoor patios. New picture windows have been added in 2016 throughout the house to bring the outdoors in. Our kitchen is generously stocked with spices and pots and pans suitable for serving up to 12. The general architectural design is very wheel chair friendly with custom wide hallways, 36 inch interior doors and a spacious main bathroom. The kitchen and bathrooms are loaded with numerous amenities, just in case you forgot something. We are stocked with picnic supplies, toiletries, and extras in the kitchen. We want this to feel like your home away from home. We have a small assortment of DVD movies, books, and board games. Everything you find in the house has been put there for your use.
You will have full access to the property excluding the garage and shed.
Interaction with guests
I live in the adjacent house and am always nearby to assist with whatever comes up. Problem with the house? Call me day or night. Need assistance with anything? Call me day or night. I am here to facilitate your stay with on site attention. On rare occasions I may need to retrieve items from the garage storage.
Other things to note
The primary source of heat is a pellet stove. If you are unfamiliar with this equipment I am available if you have questions or need immediate assistance 24 hours a day. I am typically home. I do setup the stove to run for 12 hours prior to your arrival if the weather requires it. All you need to do is turn it up or down and add pellets every few hours or so.
Leave the house in as close to the same condition as you found it. Put everything away, wash and put away your dishes, wipe down the kitchen counters, put patio furniture to its original location, etc. I will do the general cleaning, linens, towels, floors. Please leave your beds loosely made and hang used towels to dry in the bathrooms. Failure to leave the house in a reasonably tidy and clean condition will result in an additional cleaning fee of up to $200. No pets allowed however will consider them on a case by case basis. Our greatest concern is damage to the bedroom wood floors. Smoking outdoors only. We have multiple outdoor seating areas.
Call right away if you have any trouble operating the pellet stove. I am available by phone and live next door.
Commercial Use- No commercial use without express written or digital consent.

I recently quit my corporate job so I could enjoy hosting you. Having lived in the high desert for nearly 40 years I have grown to have a deep appreciation for it's beauty.
I enjoy going to Sequoia National Forest and also RV camping and riding off highway vehicles with my friends and three sons at the Joshua Tree Dry Lake Bed.
My style of hosting is to be available by text or phone call in case you need anything. I can also be reached by knocking on my door as I live next door to my rentals. Should you need information or assistance I will do what I can to facilitate.
