Picture this! Views reveal breathtaking Section 6 valley below to the east. Upward views of the Wonderland of Rocks from your pillow top. French doors from the master suite that lead onto the expansive JTNP facing patio. A fire pit for relaxing under the stars. Two bedrooms with king beds plus 8 additional beds in the common areas. 1900 square feet of entertaining areas alone. Perfect for the couple, family, students, yoga retreats or group bookings.

The space

This is a rambling 1900 square foot ranch house built in 1972 and freshly remodeled between 2014 to present. Beautiful tile and wood floors run throughout the home. There are two king size beds in two rooms plus a total of 6 twin size trundle beds in the living room. There are two more full size sleeper sofas in the sun room. With only two bedrooms the majority of the space is allocated to a huge living room and sun room. Multiple entries open onto outdoor patios. New picture windows have been added in 2016 throughout the house to bring the outdoors in. Our kitchen is generously stocked with spices and pots and pans suitable for serving up to 12. The general architectural design is very wheel chair friendly with custom wide hallways, 36 inch interior doors and a spacious main bathroom. The kitchen and bathrooms are loaded with numerous amenities, just in case you forgot something. We are stocked with picnic supplies, toiletries, and extras in the kitchen. We want this to feel like your home away from home. We have a small assortment of DVD movies, books, and board games. Everything you find in the house has been put there for your use.

Guest access

You will have full access to the property excluding the garage and shed.

Interaction with guests

I live in the adjacent house and am always nearby to assist with whatever comes up. Problem with the house? Call me day or night. Need assistance with anything? Call me day or night. I am here to facilitate your stay with on site attention. On rare occasions I may need to retrieve items from the garage storage.

Other things to note

The primary source of heat is a pellet stove. If you are unfamiliar with this equipment I am available if you have questions or need immediate assistance 24 hours a day. I am typically home. I do setup the stove to run for 12 hours prior to your arrival if the weather requires it. All you need to do is turn it up or down and add pellets every few hours or so.

Open space with a LOT of room for folks to sleep. Two bedrooms and several cots. Lots of open space inside and out. Lovely views of the desert. Fenced yard, though I'm not sure if the gates close -- we didn't try. Super communicative hosts. A bottle of wine to welcome us. Lovely, indeed.

Great location. Close to everything in Joshua Tree, but also private and secluded. Jessica is close by and responded to requests right away. Highly recommended.

As other reviews have stated, Jessica's house is much more spacious and roomy than expected! The house is very well stocked as well which made for an extremely comfortable stay. The house itself is located conveniently near the West Entrance to the park. Jessica is so pleasant and easy to communicate with.

We had a lovely stay at this home! It is HUGE, bright, cute, and super close to town. My fiance and I came for a weekend getaway to get some work done and were inspired by the desert and had plenty of space to work, cook, and relax -- with a few journeys out to town and the desert.

We love this place! Second time visiting Joshua Tree and staying there. Great location, great host!

Jessica was a wonderful host and even took the time to show us all of the nearby hikes! Her house is SO CLOSE to Joshua tree so it was easy to travel to and from the park. I LOVE HER HOUSE. Definitely coming back with another group of friends.

12 of us stayed at Jessica's place over the weekend and we were very happy with how much living space there was in the house. We all slept very comfortably and enjoyed all the amenities that came with the house. I would definitely book again with Jessica. Communication was excellent during the planning portion of the trip and the actual stay.

I recently quit my corporate job so I could enjoy hosting you. Having lived in the high desert for nearly 40 years I have grown to have a deep appreciation for it's beauty.

I enjoy going to Sequoia National Forest and also RV camping and riding off highway vehicles with my friends and three sons at the Joshua Tree Dry Lake Bed.

My style of hosting is to be available by text or phone call in case you need anything. I can also be reached by knocking on my door as I live next door to my rentals. Should you need information or assistance I will do what I can to facilitate.
