We spent a week in this wonderful house. Beautifully situated with a stunning wiew and a fabulous interior. Many beautiful places to visit close by, but all you really want is to stay in the property and enjoy it. Jonathan is a great host and gave us a lot of information about the area. It's just a short drive (30 minutes) to Lucca witch is a beautiful town to visit. The service was great. We were met by Alessia hwo takes care of the service in the house and she helpt us with all practical details. We really thank Jonathan and his family for this week and would love come back.

My wife and I live between New York and the villa, which has become the main gathering place for our friends, three daughters and family. We travel extensively, are avid museum, theatre and movie-goers (which is why the house is full of books, art, a large DVD and CD collection). We enjoy food and cooking...and is one of the reasons we chose to live in this part of Tuscany --- artisanal prosciutto, cheeses, fresh porcini (and occasionally truffles) wine and oil - all especially good because of the quality of air and water in the hills. It's also an area in which the changing seasons all have their own beauty and special delights with village sagras (fairs) and communal activities at which visitors are always welcome
